ciel phantomhive

ciel phantomhive is the 13 year old sole survivor of a horrific tragedy that killed his entire family. he was kidnapped and sold to a cultlike organisation who kept him in a cage like an animal, and subjected him to depraved acts in order to sacrifice him to a higher demonic power. to escape the cult ciel harnessed the demon's power for himself and made a contract in exchange for his soul. he vowed to use the demon to get revenge on every single person who had involvement in his family's death by his own hands.

he is childish and arrogant, but shoulders a heavy responsibility to continue his family's legacy, acting as the monarchy's watchdog, keeping the underworld in line and punishing those who step out. he is no stranger to getting his hands dirty and can seem morally ambiguous in pursuit of what he feels to be the greater good.

at heart though while he is very disciplined, he is still a kid and wants to play with toys and eat sweets for every meal.
