When its over...

Thank God I made it! The presentation wasn't as bad as I expected earlier. I feel like flying... and kinda relieved for a while coz lesser stuff to be piled up in my head! Thanks alot for those (Lobo, Sashi, Sentil, Desmond & Victor) that helped me out... at last, I'm able to get rid off my stage fright. This is just an intro of what we're going to have next term... more adventure = more fun!

Gambar Jamuan Aidilfitri PMC (aku tak upload lagik)... 250+ flocked to Exam Hall... this is the first time the PMCSA ever held such a function. Kudos to all commitee members for making this unique event happened. Aritu ari yg paling memeningkan kepale... tensed up gile.... tapi... Alhamdulillah, kuay tiow kari n soto sempat jugak siap. Terima kasih Asriah, Syazwani, Zati, Jihan, Syarifah, and Wan... kerna tolong masak soto n kari. Terima kasih juga Huda, Zaim n Syafeq kerna mencuba masak jemput2 walaupon aku salah beli tepung... mekaseh Islah, Izham & Anuar dan sesape lg... there's awful lot of lesson to be learnt in time... sblom PMCSA buat function lg nanti...
Sleep - Tidur

Back in hey day when I was in Form 1, sleeping during classes was like a routine. Not doing it means no life I suppose. So most of my teachers labelled me as 'sleepy guy'... and way until Form 5, that unique name still haunted me. And now, I still feel like sleeping during lectures... :P

Sebenarnya aku tertidur tadi... more or less setengah jam depan skrin. Agaknya aku letih sgt kot. Letih pasal aku anaemic? Naaaa.... Last nite aku mmg tensed gile. Tetibe nervous lelebeh about presentation yg bakal aku buat Monday nih dengan partner aku.

Tidur... bile lecture terlalu bosan, maka aku slalunyer akan masuk ke 'sleeping mode'. Mata jadi kuyu, tangan pon dah mule malas nak bergerak. Tanpa disedari, 10 saat boleh hilang sekelip mata. Time tutup mata lain, bukak mata dah masuk point lain dalam lecture plak. Memang memeningkan kepala, pasal aku kene kaychap balek... and worse, aku terus missing the whole point. Secara umumnya, tidur dalam lecture mmg common kalau lecture tu mmg boring ie monotonous, passionless voice. Ni yg aku kene avoid from... nak buat lecture yg menarik, kene ade passion, that drives you. Sometimes, it doesn't mean that if you know your part really well, you'll make good presentation. It just... errr you have to say it clearly, with passion. Show them that you're really trying to make them understand the whole picture... Yaaaa!!! I will try my best!

Selamat Hari Raya... Maaf Zahir & Batin...

We had 'one day off' for the whole day. I skipped 3 classes plus Chemistry tutorial... you're really really bad Abadi... :P ...Yeah we tend to say... "Who gives the crap?... Its just once in a while...". So all the Malaysians from RC, UCD, TCD, DBS, Portobello and all sorts of unis flooded Malaysia Hall... When I get myself in the "takbir", I feel like crying, despite the presence of the others that really open up a chance to have a long chitchat.... Indeed, it was truly a nice experience too, esp. seeing our brothers and sisters in such a lovely traditional costumes on that day. Something that was quite different from what I've had in Perth last year... So it's been 2 years of celebrating Eid abroad...

Hari raya kali ini rase lebih meriah laaa. Maybe pasal ramai manusia kat sini. Tak sangka, aku ke Eddie Rockets teguk shake malam 1 Syawal. We had a good time there. Anwar, Izzy, Abu & Wan ade skali. Sedap jugak Choc Shake die, pekene plak dengan Moby Dick...

Tapi, Ramadhan yg berlalu tak dpt dimanfaatkan sepenuhnya. Rase rugi. Tapi lagi elok la aku rase dari tahun lepas. Nabi dah kate - Orang yg celake adalah org yg lagi teruk dari hari semalam. So Insya Allah jgnler aku tergolong dalam golongan tersebut.

Apepon, aku nak mintak maap kepada -

Diri-sendiri: Pasal tak dapat kawal nafsu. Asek ikut je. Aku kene review byk pasal diri aku. Ari tu call apest. Terima kasih byk kerana telah kasi opinion pasal diri aku. Yelah, aku tak nampak diri aku sangat. Serius. Kene ade org lain. Ever heard about NATO? Macam tu agaknya... time die cakap, terase ade big, giant needle prick my heart deeply. It hurts... but Alhamdulillah, aku tau jugak mane silapnye. Aku hanya manusia. Tapi mmg ade room for improvement, tu yg aku tanak tertinggal.

Aik.... aku rase aku type utk my parents, kwn2 tadi. Deyyyy mana pigi??

I Feel Full Of Beans! will be moved to a new host

Soon this site will be hosted on www.gundala.com. So more pix can be uploaded, plus no more ads banner around. But at the moment, blogger seems problematic at times esp when publishing to FTP server, so as a precaution measure I'll keep this site running for a while at blogspot.com. Now I'm planning to migrate to MT too, but I need more time and idea to cheer it up!
Smile coz we're in the papers!

Hahaha... finally our Hari Raya greeting is published in Berita Harian... it's only a matter of time before it will come out on Utusan too... we'll just have to wait!

//Row2 - Hidayah, Roslaili, Syazwani, Huda, Elayni, Zafrina, Jihan, Asriah, Zati

//Row1 - Hasmah, Faezah, Izeti
Any Idea How To Get More Idea???

Hmmm... I've sat in front of the screen but still couldn't type even a single word... whats going on Abadi? Feel like sleeping? No? Yes? OOOo for God's sake please...

Anyway, yesterday PPIMI had a Tilawah Al-Quran competition at Malaysia Hall. I got another thing to do, but somehow I ended up being there whole evening. I was on my way to photo lab, suddenly I bumped with my fellas that wanted to go for a soccer match at unknown park. We had a short conversation on the match whereabout... and I decided to join them if and only if I've taken my photos at the lab... and go there by myself. But then, something wrong happened with my brain. I can't even recall which bus to take to, and the most important, which park... Nooooooo....

So then I just dumped the whole plan, and gave Wan a ring, and ask him if he is going to Malaysia Hall too. I knew I'm gonna be late for the Tadarus (reading the Quran in groups), but what the heck, I still have the chance to see the Tilawah Al-Quran competition.

Quite a bunch of guys attended, and surprisingly we received guests from as far as Galway, for the sake of the ukhwah... If I was in his position, I wouldn't even bother... hmmm... that's how evil I am... But, the whole competition was excellent! There was a time when a brother recites sentences about the punishment and mortality, I was shattered deeply... and that was my food for thought for that night.

Speaking of mortality, few days earlier, I received an email about the death of our sisters at Michigan, USA. It was an unfortunate death. Hope Allah will bless them... but the thing is, this incident woke me up, as I've nearly experienced my own demise few months ago. I can imagine whatever they've seen before being knocked down to death. Sound scary huh? Yes it is. Why? Simply because we're feeling that we're not ready for it yet...

So, from now on, be careful. Drive safe. Don't sleep while driving, or else you'll sleep forever. Listen to this song while driving... and you'll awake for the rest of the journey...

Iman Mutiara

Iman adalah mutiara

Di alam hati manusia

Yang meyakini

Allah Maha Esa, Maha Kuasa

Tanpamu iman bagaimanalah

Merasa diri hamba padaNya

Tanpamu iman bagaimanalah

Menjadi hamba Allah yang bertaqwa

Iman tak dapat diwarisi

Dari seorang ayah yang bertaqwa

Ia tak dapat dijual beli

Ia tiada di tepian pantai

Walau apapun caranya jua

Engkau mendaki gunung yang tinggi

Engkau merentas lautan api

Namun tak dapat jua dimiliki

Jika tidak kembali pada Allah...

Translation:

Faith is like a Pearl

Faith is like a pearl

Present in the human heart

Which believes in Allah

The Omnipotent and Omnipresent

Without you, faith

How could my heart submit to Allah

Without you, faith

How could I become a pious servant?

Faith cannot be inherited

From a pious father

It cannot be bought nor traded

It is not scattered just anywhere

Whatever your means may be

You may climb a steep mountain

You may cross a sea of fire

Still it will not come to you

Until you submit to Allah
Picture This...

Picture this. A library, a bookshelf and an encyclopaedia. Millions of encyclopaedia could be arranged in a bookshelf, and millions of bookshelf make up a huge library. So, we're talking about lots, really lots of information. And amazingly, this whole thing can be squeezed within 2 metres of thread. That's the analogy the information needed to create a complete human.

Picture this again. Flour, butter, eggs, sugar, and a bakery man. Will all the ingredients combined together automatically to become a cake without the bakery man? Absolutely not. Even, if you leave all the things for a trillion years, and when you come back, that thing will remain the same, not becoming cakes, biscuits or whatsoever.

Ok I guess I ran out of idea... Damn it!
Time stops ticking but everything's faster...

excerpt from Fire Is A Curse?, a song by Butterfingers

Whether we are aware about it or not, Ramadhan is coming to an end. So, grab what you could before the door closes... who knows this would be your last chance? Allah has shown you the exact place on the map, but its totally up to you to decide the going...

And one more thing, today, marks exactly one month away for the coming exam that will be on Dec 12. And much lesser for the Biomedical Presentations (8th & 9th)... and I'm damn nervous! The race begins...

Ok I list down what's happened so far for the past few days:

-Had Iftar at Wan/Abu's place. Buff, Megat and Lan came to the feast. We had a good time, and sumptous meal too. Thanks to Abu & Wan!

-Booked two roundtrip flights for the winter break - Dublin>London and London>Hamburg. Now I should start planning my holiday with Wan. And I have to figure out how to save as much as I possibly could.

And I feel so much better today... Alhamdulillah... you are The One we should turn to everytime...

A Happy place?

Semalam aku ke tutorial physics. Kenny Winser yg ajar... Alhamdulillah setakat nih aku paham jugak laa ape yg die explain. Tapi yg aku tak bleh tahan pasal lawak die la. Die cite, last year ade oral exam utk sesape yg tak pass final. External examiner ngan die jadi panel.... so die pon tanye soalan pasal Compton Scattering dengan Pair Production - ni ade kaitan ngan atoms, electrons, ngan xray. Die tanye budak nih, "Soon after the electron was excited by absorption of photons, where does the electron goes then?". Budak tu tade clue langsung. Setelah memerah otak, die pon jawab, "It goes to its happy place?". Terus panel dua org tu gelak-gelak.... Aku pon gelak-gelak jugak laaa... heh lawak siut.
Greetings from afar... again??

I am quite happy today. Wan & Abu came here for the iftar, though it was a successful last-minute preparation. Hours before, we managed to have our photo taken for the Eid Mubarak Greeting column in our motherland's local press, be it Utusan or Berita Harian. Kudos to everyone, for dressing up nicely, albeit the usual cold weather, which is a clear sign of winter in Dublin. To me, I am delighted to see Baju Melayu & Baju Kurung around, maybe because I want to feel like home for a while...

//See salam perantauan here - I could see my friends at the State! ----> Pacaq (Arizona) and Ajat (Vanderbilt)

Ohh... on this Saturday there would be Ramadhan Bazaar at Malaysia Hall. So everyone's invited, more people, more merrier! And I've heard a rumour saying that TV3 will shoot Eid Mubarak greeting and then it will be on air during 1st day of Syawal. So this is the only chance you'd get to make yourself famous. Everybody in your hometown will talk about you... perhaps the dialogue exactly like these:

"ooOOooo... anaknya si Samad yang kat German masuk tv lahh..."

"Eh! Ini bukan si Jamal ke? Dulu selalu makan maggie same-same, tau tau dah kat USA yek..."

More Than A Name

And I saw this poem in a magazine. Its about Alzheimer's.

I too had a life, filled with laughter and tears.

We made wonderful plans for our later years.

And now here I am, in this of my own.

I'm lost and I'm frightened, and feel all alone.

Because of my illness, I'm no longer the same,

but reach out and touch me.

I'm more than a name.

"More Than A Name" by Jerry Ham (Alzheimer's carer)
Just got back from Clounskea Mosque for the daily iftar. I took several photos of the minaret with the moon in the background, and hopefully that would be a series of good shots. Also, I'm coming again maybe on Friday, with my tripod and remote control... plus I can use slower shutter speed rather that relying on anything that could be a camera's tripod like car's roof and at the same time risking my life should the alarm goes off!

Free food but without the adab?

Hmmm.... Alahai manusia...

Wow! Its been a while since my last update. I'm pretty busy at the moment... or just trying to get myself busy so that I could spend my time more effectively. Am I crazy, or just plain stupid?

Last weekend I went for a hiking trip to Glendalough, a remote place where Braveheart shooting took place few years back. It takes nearly an hour or so for the bus to get thru the winding road before it stopped exactly at our "beloved" primitive hut. No wonder they asked us to bring the sleeping bag, and fleece blanket in the first place! Ok just forget the sad part. Let's turn over a new leaf instead! The view up from the hill was breathtaking, not to mention the super-brisk wind that multiplies the total chill factor we were facing. The stream was crystal-clear, but going for a swim is definitely the biggest mistake ever ----> "Are you out of your mind or something?" The hiking part was superb coz we got to see nice scenery, like Kevin's Bed and so forth; although we had to fast, but hey... don't you ever realised that people used to fast during the Badar war? When we were hiking, the tiredness itself was never came across in our mind. But as soon as we started to lie down and take a short break, then you'll groan...ooouchhh... my legs hurts! Now, behold! Some pix to be look at...

Surfed to Projek Petaling Street just now. It was kinda repository of all Malaysian weblogs - reflected from its slogan ---> "Content From Malaysians Being Malaysian".One site that really caught my attention was TV Smith's Dua Sen. It features entertaining sarcastic jokes about life in Malaysia. So Ya hala, make TV Smith's your daily surfing diet.

BTW, TV Smith's Dua Sen URL is:

Why oooo why???

Something I wonder, why these mindless drones always trying to convince me to stay abroad forever... instead of going back and serve the country? Yet they have sworn earlier before reaching up to this stage, they're should be here not because of money, glamour or any other ridiculous reasons. They all keep saying these annoying words all the time, to the extent I nearly kill myself! IMHO, if money you're after for, then go into something else. Medicine is way too noble to be contaminated by this kind of syndrome. Saying such as "OOOooooOOO I wanna stay here coz I can earn more... and I can buy a car big big, then I could have a good family.... bla bla bla bla..." makes I hate them even more. I am aware that the enviroment makes the difference - ie suitable for schooling your children, et cetera, but please bear in mind of what your purpose of being here is all about. There are awful lots of Malaysians that deprived of good treatment.... Come to think about that, it is a fact that some of us only made empty promises... I hope I am not offending anyone of you, but this is what I've observed about their mentality nowadays. Note:This is solely a reminder for my own good, just in case should I went astray...

Film Speed

Spoke to photo lab guy few days ago about film speed and et cetera. He told me that I must develop "view of a pro photographer" before I can make it. He is damn talented, and he was like a guru. Here's the summary of what I've learnt from him:

//ISO 1600 - Concerts, gigs, or whatever "dark" events

//ISO 800 - Indoor games (no flash), Outdoor games in the evening. For best results, use monopod or tripod

//ISO 400 - Action, preferably on a clear day.

//ISO 200 - Cloudy day... or night scene (bulb)

//ISO 100 - Hills and mountains or I should say nature photos. Using a tripod is a must I suppose.

So hopefully I could be a better photographer... and obviously there's a long way to go...

Hmmm... apparently the "game" is whatever field we are in, no matter how it differs to each other. We are the players, and to keep the game going, we just have to kick the ball... and I heard about a saying - If it's in the game, it's in the game... So, do not let your anger overwhelms yourself... coz losing and winning is just one of the part of the whole picture. What makes its important is what do you get from losing/winning... and one more thing, trust me - shit happens. And the really big deal is how to evade it in future instead of blaming whose shit is this. It is totally pathetic for cursing what's already took place aloud, and do you think that will clean up the whole mess? OOoo God, what the hell I'm babbling about?

Dessert Night

Hundreds (if not thousands :P) of Surgeons flocked to College Hall on Friday night. It was Dessert Night, where everybody have to bring their own dessert. Some featured dessert are - Butterscotch Pie, Pengat Pisang, Popia, Onde-onde and Serimuka. Full report is available online at http://www.ihavenomoodforbloggingtoday.com

Ambassador's Cup

The most awaited soccer tournament in Ireland has come! DBS A, DBS B, RC, UCD, Trinity, Cork, Galway, Postgrads and Belfast, compete to reach the peak. Defending champion is Galway, and they played superbly for the whole competition. Unfortunately, their reign had been taken away when they lost to RC in a thrilling match. Another champion has emerged - Dublin Business School A (yup... they sent 3 teams) is the champion, defeating RC by penalty shoot-out. You guys are great! In earlier stage, RC team nearly disqualified for semi-final, but by the grace of God, DBS A trashed Belfast, and this paved the road for RC to the final. After all, the greatest underdog of the year goes to UCD - lost in all matches, and didn't manage to score any goals and that was their worst performance to date.

PMC Sports Day

//I'll write about this later. Not enough brain juice!
I think for the first time ever here, I am depressed and I felt the whole day soooo slow to be gone thru. This kinda reminds me of last year's hectic life. When everybody was already back in Malaysia, having nice time with their family, I still couldn't get myself out of the misery. I was wallowing in my own self-pity, and what made it bad I didn't realize that I did. I really pissed me off of my failure. I spent the whole day lying on the grass at Fremantle, trying to get rid off the dissappointment that really haunted me out. But now, Alhamdulillah it was all over... and I feel much better... much much much better... I feel full of beans! End of today's ramble.

Ok here's some photos that worth sharing with.

Hohoho... I only had 1 lecture today but too bad it was a boring one. The lecturer was mumbling all the time, and this would be the main reason why I fall asleep during the lecture. And today we have a delegation from Ministry of Education (Malaysia ok...) and they invited us for some sort of refreshment. Basically they came here to learn about the Irish style and standard for the renumeration scheme, which is solely based on competency, not seniority. We have 360,000 teachers back in Malaysia, and how am I going to choose only the best of the breed, to be promoted? Looks like they got a tough job... But the most important thing is the food! I mean, free lunch! Come to think about food, this coming Friday we gonna have Dessert Night, pretty much like a potluck. Hmmm, I've asked my mom some special dessert recipe, but so far I haven't made my decision yet. Just wait and see!

To Rupyana or not, that is the question...

Just got back from Almhari Pizza. Me, Shafiq and Mohan had a dinner there - pizza, chips and burgers. I'm tired of eating out at Rupyana... you know, I bet even the cashier is sicked of seeing us. Not because of my bad table manner, or having the same meal everytime I popped in there, but simply because I had enough of Rupyana. It's better to get some sort of diversity in where you would go for dinner or lunch :). Okay tomorrrow we have fresher's day for Muslim student in Dublin. Many kind of activities will be held I suppose. And I've heard a senior said that there will be photography session for Salam Perantauan. Cool...

Keranamu anakku...

Ni tadi kawan aku cerita, time fresher day kat UCD City Campus. Kerana sangat sayangkan kita, sanggup ibunya merahsiakan segalanya. Aku penah dengar... ade seorg tu ayahnya meninggal ketika di tahun pertama lagi... tapi die baru tahu apabila dah nak grad... betapa hancur hatinya... tapi lebih baik dari hancurnya hati ibu melihat anaknya gagal dalam tahun pertama kerana kesedihan ayahanda yang baru pergi... So pk pk kan kisah ini. Kita mungkin ronggeng bagai nak rak kat oversea nun... tapi kita lupa harapan mak ayah kat tanah air sana. Kita mungkin setakat bermurung sekiranya kita gagal... tetapi fikirkanlah perasaan mak ayah bila mereka tahu berita sedih macam tuh... mungkin berlinangan air mata mereka... fikirkan... Jangan biarkan setitis air mata mereka pun jatuh kerana kegagalan, sebaliknya dengan kecemerlangan 1st class honours...

Assalamualaikum. Finally I've got my own iBook. So I can do my work with much ease, rather than racing for a seat in computer lab everyday. Coz most of my lecture notes are available online, so it is a necessity to have a computer! Well I don't have anything to talk about my life today at the moment, yet I still something to say which is very important - Be confident. It is a simple principle but it has large impact in whatever you do everyday esp if you're Muslim. Ok enough said, I'll talk more on this later. I'm so sleepy right now...

Apa itu syirik?

Kadang-kadang kite pon tak prasan kite dah buat syirik. Pasal bende tu mungkin nampak kecik. Atau kite pon ambik tak kesah sangat. Yela, kite fikir kite tak mungkin sampai ke tahap sebegitu. Syirik nih maksudnye menyekutukan Allah, or secara mudahnye kita anggap bende lain ade kuasa n power mcm Allah. Kalo ade mende aku cakap nih salah, silalah tegur ye....
Dublin - a different world and life altogether

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of God I have set afoot at Dublin. Met loads of premeds ever since, and looking forward to meet with those fellas in different discipline ie prephsyio pharmacy students and first meds. Today I had my first lecture.... Phew! After 9 months of rotting, I think my brain is still functioning, coz I could recall all those chemical substaces like superoxide etc... My college is basically in the city centre, next to shopping centre, and quite close to clubbing areas (I am not a disco or club maniac!). Things here are really expensive - a loaf of bread is about 1 euro!

Hari Yang Paling Penat Dalam Sejarah

Flew off from KLIA at around midnite and had a boring flight. Nothing much to do except berborak sampe takleh tido. Bile sampe Heathrow, rase sejuk gile, dah le aku pakai baju melayu je. Org pon cakap "Badut ko nak gi umrah ke?". N then bile kat immigration, aku n Huda je yg lepas. The rest kene tahan - ade la health check ke bende dierang kene buat. Time ni terus terang subuh dah rentung. Pastu ade briefing ngan student advisor kat Belgrave Square. Jgn join kelab politik, ape lagi dos and don'ts yg kene ingat... Pastu 2.00pm rush gi Heathrow balek pasal nak amek flight to Dublin kol 3.30pm. Kitorg nye luggage ade kat Terminal 3. Domestic flight kat Terminal 1. Luggage adalah berat. So the trolley pon sure berat gile. Kitorg pon tolaklaaa trolley yg berat gile all the way to Terminal 1. Time tu la beg aku terbukak and bertabur laaa segale rete bende kat kaki lima. Time is running out pasal time tuh dah kol 2.45pm. Terbayang time tu nak terlepas flight dahhh.... Alhamdulillah ade staff die jerit panggel flight kitorg. Mmg lega gile... Sampai jugak Dublin....
Last weekend I went back to my hometown at Semerah, somewhere in Johore. Met my mbah (grandpa in Java). We had a nice conversation together... he's full of wisdom. What else you can say about experienced man? He reminds me of hardships, sacrifice bla bla bla bla. To the extent that I can't think any of what he said. I really hope that I don't falter in my studies. Should that happened, hmmm... come to think about it.... its just a game. The real trophy is the experience of failing to do whatever you're supposed to get it done. That's all for today, a reminder for myself :)

Abadi

Guess what I'm surprised at? Typed abadi in Google.com and found loads of people named Abadi too. Here's some example:

Danesh Abadi - graphic designer

Shahid Akhbar Abadi - name of a teaching hospita in Iran, I bet it must be named after a great doctor

Martin Abadi - a researcher in computing I think

Professor Abadi - Ophthalmologist at Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester UK <---- he's closest to me from Dublin

Mr Haider Al Abadi - A Master by research student in UniMelbourne.

And if you typed "abadi sufaat", you'll see a link to Flashkit.com. It's about my Flash project submitted when I was 16 (Form 4). At that time, learning Flash is totally torturing myself mentally. Hmmmm... maybe as years pass by, Insya Allah you'll find the others like Prof Dr Abadi Sufaat, Dean of Medicine or something... :) Hey... its good to dream... what made it bad is you don't even go for it!

Terima kasih Pakya, Azraie, Pong & Ramzi

Ni banyak tolong aku... banyak nasehat... terharu aku bile dierang buat surprise kat aku time bday aritu (bulan June aritu). Aku pon tak teringat aritu bday aku... hhehehe byk sangat mende dipk pk kannye... :P Pastu mmg dierang byk support aku time aku down... cam server down... Wish korg all the best buat final nxt week. Buat elok... give your best shot... aku doakan korg sume score abeh!

My own website?

As of now, I don't think I need my own website. Why? Cash-strapped? Of course not! To me, the most important thing about a particular website is the content itself. Unless you're design junkie (esp art & design grads), so you'll need loads of special effects - Flash, Aftereffects, whatever prog, u just name it so that the viewers (hopefully one of them is your client to be) totally impressed of what you've done. Just wait for a couple of months... and voila! Badut.com or Abadi.com! I'll upload all the stuff - shooting techniques, HTML tutorials, yada yada... maybe I could be of some help for you guys.

Gundala.com is up!

Alhamdulillah, I've purchased the domain plus hosting space as well. I'll sort out the gallery tonite, and by next week, after I revamp the templates, all Gundalerz can post photos if they want to. What more interesting is you can send ecards! Argghhh! I nearly forgot the hari raya card design templates! Forgive me Pakya if I'm late to finish it!

Blogging - A Mind-Boggling Pastime?

I don't think so. But it does freak me out a little in the beginning. Well, everyone wants their blog is fully decorated with all they've got - pics, album, et cetera... Here's what I did to make it lawa to my eyes...

1 - Copy current template code into Dreamweaver (or any prog that can edit HTML)

2 - Delete styles tag. Its better to design the whole thing by yourself.

3 - Change font, layout and all other things. Play around with table. It does help making your blog beautiful.

4 - As for image/photo, sign up at villagephotos.com and upload whatever image/photo you want to.

5 - Insert some image into your daily ramble. It makes your blog looks nicer - rather than endless texts, which will bring about some eyesore to viewers

6 - After done designing your blog, replace all the code in your template section.

7 - Publish!

A Walk To Remember...

Miss my teachers heaps! Jumpe balek chegu sume, well byk dah tuko SMAPK nih. In terms of cleanliness, bersih sket dari zaman aku dulu, blok skolah pon nampak usang time aku masuk F1... skang cat pon orait laa... heh bile jumpe chegu, first thing dierang tanye : "Dah berpunya?" Duhhh... aku maleh laa nak pk pk mende camnih. Kepale aku dah cukup penuh ngan bende lain... kang overload plak, pastu accident! mcm lori treler kene tahan JPJ pasal bawak kayu balak byk sgt! Merepek lagi... lagi satu aku hamper lupe... Ayah chegu Amnah dah kembali ke rahmatullah... so aku ngan chegu laki lain pegi ziarah tadi. Buat tahlil, terase gile mati ni depan mate... aaa 3 bende yg still berhubung ngan si mati :

1)ilmu yg diajar (yg bergune)

2)sedekah jariah die (wakafkan tanah buat masjid...bla bla bla...)

3)doa anak yg soleh/solehah...
Happy birthday Anas Sufaat!

Though its quite early to wish, my last brother turning to be 1 month old on Wednesday. Just don't stare at me like a stranger when I come back next year, will you? I'll post his pics soon after I finished shooting. 36 frames is too much for a film roll!

Metal Gear Solid: The Best is Yet to Come (English Translation)

http://www.animelyrics.com/game/metalgearsolid/

Tell me

I'm not alone

Tell me

We are not alone in this world

Fighting against the wind

Do you remember the time

When simple things made you happy?

Do you remember the time

When little things made you laugh?

You know

Life can be simple

You know

Life is simple

Because

The best thing in life is yet to come

Because....

The best is yet to come.

Now I know where the hell IKEA is!

By the grace of God I found IKEA... touted ooppss...its truly a fact that the largest IKEA store in Asia is in Malaysia. I didn't have the chance to take a peek inside. Maybe tommorow, or Tuesday I will probably be there again I suppose. In the evening I spent most of the time testing my new SLR camera at KLCC park. I jotted down every settings made on each shot, for a future reference later on. Being first-timer, you have to let off some rolls of films, just to get used with my camera. I have a loooooonnnnnnngggg way to be a pro photographer!

Bebelan kosong ari nih

Teringat plak pasal kamera SLR nih.... tu aku pegi KLCC malam ahad amek gambo... aku tulih sume setting... kot kot bleh tgk balek nanti. Ayah ade gak cite... die dulu pon ade camera camtuh. Pentax ke hape ntah... lupe lak aku... but ade org pinjam... pastu hilang. Org tu pon cakap... lebey kurang camnih kot : "Sori laa hilang..." , sambil tersengih... pastu senyap je... perghh... sape tak bengang! Sejak aritu (dah bertahun dah...) kalo ade sesape nak pinjam mende pelik (mahal n delicate) die mmg tak kasik, atau pon kalo aku nak pinjam bende pelik mmg ayah aku sound awal.... ade rasionalnye... aku mintak bebanyak lagi skali Ramzi pasal patahkan CD digicam hang....

Cite balek pasal camera plak... aku beli EOS 66 Date...lens die Canon Zoom Lens EF 28-80mm 1:3.5 - 5.6 II.... focal length die 28-80mm... ingat nak beli EOS 300v... but pk pk balek... takyah laa... tinggal yg tak beli skang : Flash lamp yg beso tuh (mahal gak), lens lain yg beso... aku tgk sampe 300mm, Canon or Tamron... hmmm... maybe aku beli sblom aku blah... tatau laa... battery pack lagi... waa byk nye... sampai kat Dublin aku kene carik photography guru... baru bleh gune segale mende alah yg aku ade nih... Insya Allah I'll make it utk jd photographer yg baik.

Arghhhhhh Demam!

I feel I'm quite unwell today. Fever, cold and cough. That's explain why I didn't go for the night-shift at PA. ZzzzzZZZzzzzZZZzzzzz
I feel lonely...lone lone lone lonely...

Nothing unusual happened today, except I've got my own brand new discman...err actually its panasonic...but just forget the crap... and til now I'm still indecisive about the SLR camera, whether Nikon or Canon? Well, perhaps tomorrow I'll do more homework...

Soon after maghrib prayer Zar Aieman & I went to UIA for a cup of tea. We met Roy and Nyit, and as been told earlier Pakya already gone back to Batu Pahat tonite, so he's not there with us. Post-SPM era is completely different world, you know its very hard to meet the person you are longed to talk to, since everybody is getting busy with their own life. Ahhhh... how fun was being at school, you just study, eat, and study again...there's nothing to worry about, is there?

Thank you Mel

Loads of thanx to Mel Matta, for the Stuff Room - MAIDAS IV tape. You solved me after I brainstormed myself on how to spice up the Gundala In CD. Thanks again you helping me out!

Discman ooo discman

Lame dah aku nak beli gadget nih... last year nak beli... but aku concern pasal study aku kang... dah le foundation tu crash course... hanya Allah je tau camne dasatnye.... hmmmm Lia, Kuwe and Wani beli... but aku ckp kat dierang aku nanti laa join the club. Tak lame pastu Lia nye hilang... down jugak die... aaa bese... dugaan... and hari ni aku beli discman... Panasonic SL CT700... battery die cam singam... mmg portable... dpt charger skali... ishhh raze membazer gak... but to me its ok pasal nanti aku takyah beli radio... kene ade mende bising sket baru bleh study... I mean it... kalo tak ZZzzzZZZzz je la keje aku... n then aku burn sket... termasuk laahhh lagu raya... heheh sedih sket...
OAG - Biru

Apakah ini semua//Dari awal hingga akhirnya//Yang tak menentu... kau terseksa//Ku terharu... memandangnya//Terangkanlah untuk dia//Terangkanlah untukku//Kerna ku tak selalu menghampirimu//Dan selalu//Oh... Inikah yang kuterima//Kau berlalu tanpa suara//Pandanganmu... pandangannya//Menembusi bayanganku//Haruuu... Biruuu...//Haruuu... Biruuu...

I think this the best song ever from OAG...kinda reminds me of my school days years ago...

Walopon aku hari hari ngadap PC... but tak siap gak menatang nih... malas? yup... mmg ade aura malas... but slalu stuck tu yg aku stop kejap... and bile malas nak solve up the problem tu yg jadi lame haram nak siap. Video nye hal mmg rumit sket.... tgh blurr camne nak arrange... hahah bende zaman berzaman... mmg best tgk sumenye... but ikut space mmg tak cukup... so mmg kene potong sket laaa... mintak maaf kalo ade scene yg best bg korang tade dlm CD nanti....
What life is all about... ----> a reminder for me, myself and I

Life. A simple word though it means different to each person. To me, life is a place where difficulties, or I should say tests, of all sorts, happened. Some may survived the hell unscathed or made it safely after facing loads of problems, but some may wounded for the rest of their life. This is when patience come in. I've been thru such a stressful situation, but thank god after all I've learnt alot from it.

1) Stay confident all the time.

2) Do not blame anybody for anything that happened.

3) Do not neglect your responsibility, be it as a Muslim, or a student or whatever you are.

4) Prioritize everything.

5) Have a cuppa if you are damn tired.

If you did it this way and this way only, you'll be fine and.... that's life is all about !

2nd day on-duty at PA

Phew! Another on-duty. I never thought it was that tiring, as Nizam and I stayed at PA from 2300 Saturday, til 1600 Sunday! There were two cases, a big fire at Kuchai Lama, and another one about a snake at Putra Universiti. And for the rest of the day, I just chit chat and learn how to be a good operator (including radio). Glad at night, I met with Aloysis Lawrence, Nizam's boss. He's a nice person, and really generous to give advices, if you tell him your problem. Hopefully I will meet him again later on...

Terlepas!

Bile sampai KLIA... tade org... pusing punye pusing... n then carik le public... bile call.... Tini cakap lerr...kitorg masuk 2 jam awal... aaaaa tensen! Last balek dengan perut kosong... tapi aku ngan Nizam singgah Dengkil... mate pon dah kuyu... perghhh... pekene teh tarik mmg sedap... n malam tu jugak... ishhh Allah nak ingatkan aku supaya tak leh enjoy sgt... time aku balek aku lelap time driving...sesedar boommm!!!... aku langgor divider... Alhamdulillah selamat... bawak pon 60km/h.... but rim kemek... tayar tade angin... so terpaksa tuko tayar tgh memalam bute.. kol 2 pagi gitu... ishhh ni kalaulah aku mati... amal dahle tak cukup...
Of Balak Hantu and Awek Celake

Just came back from UIA PJ, after hours of chit-chatting my fellas - Azraie, Pakya, Nyit & Gope. Gave Pakya the "sacred CD - his bubu's photos", that would make him happier hahahhahahahha.... Talked about anything that crossed our minds ie from life at UIA to C++ programming. Recalled about Edisi Siasat at ntv7, which bravely uncover the truth of how low is the morale values among teenagers nowadays, esp some "mysterious" action at staircase that really bring Muslims to shame. If in the year 2003 this kind of thing happened, what do you expect in another 20 years of time? Could it be worse or better?

MOU???

Memorandum of Understanding. bleh kate like an agreement jugak ler... aku ngan beberape kwn aku ade buat mende nih... cume hardcopy tak buat lagi pasal ayatnye berbunga sangat... kang rase loya plak bace... hahhaha... but... tunggu laa korg berdua sampe aku grad ekkk.... brape tahun lagi... 6 thn? takpe.... kesabaran anda akan dibayar oleh Allah... diharap pihak yg berkenaan mematuhi syarat MOU... heheheh... n korg pon doakan aku gak pasal MOU nih...
Predeparture briefing

I met new friends, well mostly uk-bound, engineering geeks. And there's a bunch of guys will be doing their A level in UK too. Itenaries are given away, and it is confirmed that I am leaving on 25th September. Departure time 2340. Flight duration 13 hours and 10 minutes. I'll definitely will get jet-lagged after that long journey. Told by Kak Shidah that I'm gonna get my traveller's cheque on Friday. She challenged all of us to get first-class-honours degree, as she said, tough enviroment will make you a tough person. She is right. When people tend to be complacent, lazying around would be their habit. Am I right?

Then, I had another movie-marathon after predeparture briefing. Surprised that my CPUs temperature is stable, after getting the right way to position the fan.

When I choose medicine, they told me that someday, someplace and somehow you're going to make sacrifices. Like giving up something you really want now - girlfriend, hobby, etc for something you've dreamed for after these many years. Or even risking your sense of well-being and safety, just to make sure somebody still alive. But after a while, it doesn't feel like you're giving up anything at all. Ohhh God! What I am mumbling about?

Digicam and Munzir

Munzir confidently reckon that his Ixus II produces the best pics... It's definitely worth the money, and worth the sweat after wading thru endless crowd at PC Fair... but to me, using digicam is no sweat at all.

Bebelan...

Byk scholar gi skali ngan aku. Hmmmm... sure hustler gile sume... Insya Allah sumenye first class degree... but medic? perghh dot com.... mmg susah... but susah bleh jd senang... 1. keje kuat... 2. doa byk... 2. tawakal... baru Allah kurnia success.... jangan lupe syukur padaNya plak...

Pk pk gak... raya tahun nih camne laaa yek... 2 tahun aku raye kat perantauan masuk tahun ni skali. Waaa.... tape... bese laa hidup... kene ade sume nih baru jd org yg baik. Camne plak ngan Jemaah sume? Pengisian kene carik... bukan disuap... dah le aku nih bukannye baik sgt... gile gile...
46th Merdeka!

This year's celebration proved to be the best of all so far. esp the revised anthem - nearly make myself burst into tears, coz I felt like I did nothing for my country, but at the same time, asking something in return. How ridiculous! Forget the crap right now... let's go on thru the day.... In the morning I was at Putrajaya hanging out with KRBs. Thanx Nizam for giving me the special pass so that I could wonder everywhere I want during the celebration - much like press people :) minus the bulky SLR cameras! The parade was marvellous, with all policemen, soldiers, and the most important one - Civil Defence. I think it'd be nicer if all the vehicles - alpha, delta, yada yada yada be in the marching company. All in all, this is the best merdeka i've been for the rest of my life!

Also, I noticed that most cameramen use Canon, and Nikon. Plus the telephoto and wide conversion lenses. Hmmmm.... which make and model I should opt to? It really depends on my budget laaa...

Yes! I'll find the entry level one, Canon maybe, but rest assured, I won't regret buying it.

On Saturday night, Hafiz UTP and I went to Istana Budaya to meet Nizam, and had a chat all night long, til I couldn't open my eyes anymore. Had a cuppa with him, before moving out to KLCC for the countdown. Syed from Korea was there, but too bad the road were congested heavily, so we had to call off the plan to meet there. The last resort - return to Istana Budaya. Seen many fireworks at 12.00 am... and it was stunning!

Sosial n Social

Itulah die dunia kita Msia. Tak payah gi jejauh... sini je cukup nak tgk segale kedahsyatan. Salah siapa? Soalnya siapa? Hmmmm.... pk pk kan ye... aku nak ingatkan diri aku n sesape yg terbace blog nih... jangan salahkan org lain je... sendri pon kene tgk jugak... mcmmane nak gerakkan tangan kalo otak kite sendri tak hantar signal suro gerak? ishhh ape aku merepek... even angels from heaven turun kasi bayan... kalo hati tanak jugak ikut... tak kemane..... sume bergantung kat diri kite...

Merdeka?

Merdeka hati dari syaitan dan nafsu - mmg berat... n malam tu jugak... tetibe nampak 2 manusia berlainan spesis kuar dari semak time tgh drive... heh ape cite?????
Thank you for everything

I'd like to say sorry for the mistakes I did, and thank you to those that help me out of the hell last year. I admit that I've been such a troublemaker, but that doesn't mean that I am bad person. I hope that we'll still be friends, and give me a chance to improve myself and become a better man.

Ikhwan - Byk tolong and nasehat aku

Rizal - Kerajinan hang naikkan semangat aku. Aku minta maaf pasal Western Power, its my bad.

Fauzan - Ajar aku masak!

All in all, I miss you guys so much and it hurts sometimes...

Wow! I missed my blog two days in a row, am I too busy? :(

Bert and Muhaimin returned to Moscow last nite. Gorgon(Mizan), Milah, Waktar and I were at KLIA, just wanted to say goodbye to our dearest friends. Bumped into a senior - Wan Pedot, and now he's reading Law in UK, and maybe he is a friend of Kam (maybe not), another MMA student like Bert & Muhaimin. Meanwhile, Saifurahman were off to Bandung yesterday morning. Told him I'd be there but too bad I woke up late. I'm really sorry for that and I do mean it...

Then we had a cuppa at Kg Baru, and later I sent back the trio back to UKM KL campus. Looking forward to celebrate Merdeka with them, but I'll think bout it first. Hafiz from UTP, Munzir from KYMS and Nizam already asked me to join their respective plan during Merdeka. And I'm aware that I'm a little too busy...Ohhh damn it! The predeparture briefing is on Saturday!

Yeahhhhhh! Today I've learnt alot about SLR camera know-how, here I want to say loads of thanx to Chegu Zuzi and Amar for giving me chance to mess up with the camera. Actually, I'm thinking of borrowing DV tapes recorded during important events, inclucing the salam perantauan one. So, I didn't expect my trip to SMAPK end up with discovering new things - photography know-how. Aperture, exposure, shutter speed, and yadda yadda really freaked me out in the beginnning. But as a newbie, mistakes worth alot. From now on, another gadget is added to my wishlist - SLR camera. If only...

//wishlist

handycam - Canon perhaps?

SLR camera - still doing the homework... I'm still a newbie man!

handphone preferably Nokia
Put a mp3 player in my blog (actually it will pop up automatically). It takes a while to load esp the songs, each song about 120kb, so if you're using broadband, in no time the song will start playing. Made using Flash MX. Originally used to be the mp3player in Gundala In CD. Should any problem happen, just shout it out ok. Have fun!

Woke up late today, too exhausted after staying up til 3.00am. My grandpa, Che Shafie and wife arrived at the moment I opened up my eyes. What a shame! That's happen when a young man like me rotting, and doing nothing at home, even worse, wake up late everyday! Hmmmm....thinking of going to IKEA at Mutiara Damansara, but I'm not sure which highway I should drive in. I knew that it is somewhere near Uptown, though I never seen any signboards showing where the hell IKEA is.

Watched Band of Brothers, and it was good. Really. It potrays how teamwork looks like in such a disastrous situation, how they relate to each other, pretty much like a brother helping out his siblings to survive. I'm going to watch it again tommorow, hoho another movie marathon!

Tonite I'll scan and upload all the prayer text, its easy to be done, but you know its damn tedious. If only I have my own hosting...and I could use FTP to upload all the things, but the cheapest definitely would make a big hole in my wallet...
A bit woozy for the rest of the day. Maybe because of dehydration or perhaps I slept too much til my brain cells had rotten away. Or maybe because I surfed the net til I'm sick of it. After Friday prayer I called Kak Shidah, and she said my flight would be on September 25, midnite. It is time to count how many days are left and flirting with idea of how could I squeeze all my stuff - scanner, pirated cds and dvds, jumpers, longjohn, ikan bilis, dried chillis, brahim's instant food, aaaarrghhh the list goes on.... within 30kg limit. In the evening I flipped thru my photo album for a couple of times, just to recall what I've been doing since I was in Form 1. *sigh*. I nearly forget that I haven't post the gathering pics yet.

Finally baby is home! The baby is soooooo cute! My dad said he will name the baby later, and I guess it will definitely start with A, like Azkhan or something. Who knows? Next weekend I'd be busy as my grandpa & relatives are paying a visit. So my house would be full of laughter!

Thanx Pacaq for sending the photos, much appreciated!

Alam dan karu x dapat bersembang panjang since dieorg dah dipanngil utk check in. Selesai makan, kami bergegas menuju ke arah rombongan ke Jepun. Maybe nasib kami agak malang kerana hanya sempat berpeluk2kan dengan Alam sedang karu hilang ditengah lautan manusia.

Alam ceria ketika mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada kami, juga karu yg nampak agak kesedihan.Kami sempat merakam foto mereka berdua sebelum bertolak pergi. trimas utk semua kerana memberi sokongan buat duta2 kita ke Jepun. Buat Amin yg sudi bertanyakan khabar, thanks.

*khusus buat mereka yg memegang parking chipcoin. 1jam RM3...

Today is my happy day! Alhamdulillah the cute baby was delivered safely, so from now on I have seven siblings! Mom probably won't be back til Thursday, so I'm responsible for anything. At least I can get rid off my stress and boredom...and I can't wait for my little brother to be here!
Yesterday has been an energy-draining day, in the very very morning I was in duty with Nizam and learnt alot from that. Basic training doesn't taught much so I felt like I'm such a ill-prepared, know-nothing rookie. It's the fear of accidentally killed innocent people I am afraid of. Phew! The shift ended at 7.00am (start at 11.00pm yesterday) and what a relieve! There were two cases reported - the first one at Kg Pandan, where a row of houses said was caught on fire. Another one at Shangri La Hotel, but it turned out to be a small fire caused by faulty signboard lamp. Nonetheless, 5 fire engines rushed to the scene and our ambulance was the first to arrive, kudos to our super-experienced driver Dzul. Imagine the suspense and thrill when speeding at 70km/h in the midst of traffic jam, and the ambulance survive unscratched.

Pacaq gave me his add in Arizona, here it is - 1129, east 7th street, 85719 tucson, AZ, USA.

Paklan's add is - k710, rikko kaikan, 2-43-12, kotake-cho, nerima-ku, tokyo-to, Japan

Amin's - PO Box 440, Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), 22110, Irbid, The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Korean students' (Syed, Padil & Emmy) - 104, EHWA YONLIB, 313-33, GAEBONG-DONG, GURO-GU, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA.

Here's some photos of Amin at KLIA before he departed to Jordan - Jordan Uni of Science & Technology. These pics was taken last year... 2002... I'm just recycling whatever I've got in my PC.

From left: Pacaq, Azraie, Reza, Amin, Pakya(squatting), Ramzi, Pudin.

Discussion?

I'll post the pics of Gundala's first gathering later ehhh....quite exhausted right now. ZZzzzzZZZZZzzzzZZZZZzzzzz

Solved gallery problems (xml-ing matters), and understood how Ray of Light's Reverence (calendar-cum-gallery) works. So, I'll modify it to my kepale larr and perhaps this feature will be included in Gundala In CD Limited Edition. Maybe tommorow I will complete the gallery section (not Reverence one), as for koleksidoa², on Sunday night the scanning of some prayer text will begin. Time's running out, I got another 20 days left, and hopefully I could make it.

Informed by Daus that Korean students will be back tomorrow, so perhaps this is the last chance to meet my old fellas before I'm gone to Dublin. And thanx Daus for the photos, surely it'd make the gallery merrier!

Yesterday I messed up with my car at Eddie's workshop at Segambut. Did some cleaning of engine compartment. Since the car had been used to to and fro between my dad's orchard and home, mud, dust and oil are everywhere. Also, tried to fix driver's power window by swapping the motor from the passenger's side to the driver's, but it turned to be unsuccessful. But, the gear knob has been tuned a little bit, so I could shift the gears easier and faster. In the morning Nizam and I collected our member's card from JPA3 HQ, and on Saturday night (tomorrow man....) I'll be on duty (8-hour shift). Hmmmm...can't stop thinking about it, you know first-timer like me...

So far...

//in progress

video - still blurred on the arrangement...the materials given to me is like a crap!

The only thing and yet the most important one - budget is still out of the question. But don't worry too much, I'll forked out some from my parents...hopefully they'll give larrr...

Today's a bit cloudy, so its not very hot. Really. Tenya and I were off to Pekanbuku UM, looking for a book - Principles of Human Anatomy & Physiology by Tortora. Only RM91! Quite cheap for a medical textbook plus, you got free atlas and a reference CD! When I drove back, then I realized that UM Convo Festival is already begun, and that's explained why thousands of people flocked to UM, the absolute reason to massive traffic jam in UM. We had our lunch at one of the stalls, and out of variety of foods available, I chose nasi beriyani....yummmy!

At around 2.45pm we went to HUKM for a while, just wanted to make sure when people are allowed to visit. Bingo! The next visiting time would be at 4.30pm. Actually my friend has been hospitalised there, coz he puked alot, maybe because of food poisoning. Heard from his parents that it was serious...Sound scary huh?

Ever since we finished our SPM, it seems that accident of all sort tends to happen to everyone. The most scary one was set in February - Yasser, Nik & Sipolan met with an accident in Kampar, as what they told me the car skidded and spun 180 degree to other lane before being hit by another car. The fuel tank leaked, and in no time the car was reduced to black, rusty junk. The threesome escaped unhurt. Nik called me and explained the whole thing - the car burnt to ashes, the trio used all their might to get out from the car...it was like a drama after all...

So, whatever you do, mark my words : stay safe.
Hmmm...finished designing a cover for Gundala In CD Limited Edition last nite. Simple and clean design - that's the first to come up in my mind. I'm planning to use DVD casing - coz it looks like professionally-produced, much like DVD casing you could see at Blockbuster. To add some sense of nostalgia, perhaps I should a put photo of SMAPK and if its black & white, that will definitely nice!

Comments? Just spit it out, ok!
Just got back from ESU KLCC, I'm really frustated coz I forgot where I parked my car. After 15 minutes ticked away, I gave up and asked a security guard to help me out. I felt that some kind of virus might have infected my rusty brain, and caused me to have short-term memory loss! Much like in Finding Nemo I guess :P

We (Huda pon ade skali) discussed with Kak Shidah about our accomodation - Millin House, flight dates, yadayadayada, and the most important thing - asking Petronas to reimburse my last year's air fare! Banyak wooo....at least boleh laa menutup big hole kat my wallet. Met with Kak Asbi too, and as usual she's very friendly. Also, I got a peek of our UK-bound friends, with engineering students dominating the list, followed by accountancy and med students - only three?. Too bad all med students are girls. So, it is a fact that I'm the lucky bastard. The only guy..hahhh...but it's not a big deal anyway.

At noon, we went to Nationwide to pay the predeparture orientation fee, and it cost me RM55 (I'm going alone...no parents). Being alone makes you feel unsecure, coz its up to you to decide everything. Kinda an adventure too. My dad once said, you start with loads of fellas...but at the end of the day, you'll be alone and there's nothing you can do about it. Hmmm...there might a truth behind these words...

Ok, tonight I'll continue with my Gundala thingy, with an aim to standadize all the resolution of the pics for gallery section. Quite a tough job to be done, since there are hundreds of hi-res photo...don't worry...let's use Photoshop's "batch processing" command...hehehehe...makes my life a lot easier.

Gundala CD

"I can't do these all on my own...though I know; I'm no Superman!", quoting from Scrubs.

I was thinking about this project, initially there was a bunch of guys dedicated their time...but as everybody is getting busy with their own life, tinggal aku je...well I'm the only person yang ade all the time n guts utk membuatnye...Insya Allah siap September nih.

Below are details regarding Gundala In CD Limited Edition:

//completed
navigation system
perutusan - words from my teachers
profile section - swf-based...sorted by class
mp3/soundtrack player
nostalgia - how it all begin...

//in progress
xml-based profile section plus a search engine
videos - quite confused on how to make the video player works in flash
salam perantauan footage (from Hari Guru)
gallery - lots of pics

I've spent nearly 60 hours completing this whole thing. Lack of Actionscript programming skills are the part that always make myself freaked out. Hopefully this project would be done on or before the day I fly to Dublin this September.

My first entry

Fuh! At last I have my own blog. I've seen many friends of mine setting up theirs, so I decided to follow the crowd :P

Today's pretty hot, perhaps up to 30C. I went to Imbi searching for Vegas 4 cd, luckily I found one and it cost me RM15. After wondering around at Sg Wang, I sadly paid RM4 for parking, I wish that I have free parking at any car park for the rest of my life!

Did some sorting out the gundalerz vidclips that Chong (Syukri) gave me last week. It was totally time-consuming job, coz what I did was categorizing and rendering the movie itself all day long. However, at least now I'm now one step closer on finishing the Gundala In CD Limited Edition. Basically its just a multimedia CD for Gundalerz, with all the profiles and footage from Chong's and Bija's handycam. I read Vegas 4 documentation but ended to be more confused than before on some parts. After editing some movies, I managed to know what Vegas 4 is all about. It is fast, easiest movie-editing tool available for newbies.

All in all, I would say today is another boring day. Nothing to do at home, til September. BILA LAH SEPTEMBER NAK DATANG?
