So, The Young Veins, huh? Not a bad name and I like the song, even if it's a little too Beatles-y for my tastes. I'm not a huge Beatles fan; I mean I like them well enough, but I don't ever want to sit and listen to a whole Beatles album, you know? I loved Pretty Odd, which was like listening to a whole Beatles album, but Brendon could probably sing chapters from my math textbooks and I'd love it. I'd certainly enjoy studying a lot more, at any rate. XD

Anyway, the new song is pretty awesome and now I shall be impatiently awaiting albums!



I do like New Perspective better, though.

I completely and totally approve of Spencer (and his arms!) in this picture. Thumbs up all the way. ♥

Brendon, on the other hand, looks disturbingly like Ms Davis, my 4th grade gym teacher.

I just got on lj (which is my news source for all things bandom related- I just ship everything over to my flist) for the first time in two days. I'm now sitting at my computer, making the biggest D: face ever.

I was fucking about with with dreamwidth and I accidentally deleted some of my posts. I've re-imported them from lj, but the dw comments are gone. DDD:

I'm particularly sad about the comments on the vampire post- there were some good ones. I took a screenshot of them from my ljarchive backup and posted it in a comment just so they'd still be attached to the original entry, but it's not the same. :(

One of my external hard drives (I have one for fandom/media and one for music) is fucking up. It's still working, but keeps telling me I need to run check disk on it, but it won't let me! I'm afraid it's going to conk out sooner or later. Unfortunately I don't have backups because I don't have anything big enough to backup nearly 200 gigs worth of stuff onto.

It's the fandom/media drive, so if I do lose everything, most of it (manga, tv, etc) can just be re-downloaded. It would take forever, but it can be done. I don't know that I could get back all the doujinshi scanlations I have, but I could live without those. The only thing that would really suck to lose would be the fic I've saved- some of it is no longer available online-, but I've copied all of that to my regular hard drive. I don't want to keep it there, so I am thinking I will upload it to mediafire or something until I can get enough CDRs to back it up properly.

At least it's not the music drive, because that would take me 20 years and a zillion cds to back up entirely.
