Join us for a discussion with Dr. Ned Blackhawk, the Library’s 2026 Bullitt Lecturer in American History. Dr. Blackhawk is the Howard R. Lamar Professor of History and American Studies at Yale University. A graduate of McGill University, he holds graduate degrees in history from UCLA and the University of Washington. He is the author and co-editor of four books on Native American and Indigenous history, including The Rediscovery of America: Native Peoples and the Unmaking of U.S. History, a 2023 National Book Award winner.
