Introducing SwampHacks: an 18-hour hackathon where the only objective is to make something AWESOME.

Join the Association for Computing Machinery, the UF Software Development Club, and Women in Computer Science Engineering for this inaugural event. Entry is completely free, and FOOD and PRIZES will be provided! The event starts at 8pm on March 13th and goes through the night until 2pm on the 14th. Solo participation is allowed, but teams of no more than 5 members are encouraged. So grab your best graphic designers, startup enthusiasts, and rockstar programmers, and show up ready to hack the night away!

Eligibility

Any team of up to 5 participants who are physically in attendance of the event may submit a project.

Requirements

  • Must be a software product or prototype.
  • Must be original to the event. Projects whose implementation has begun before the event are not allowed. Project ideas conceived before the event are however allowed.
  • Teams of only up to 5 may submit a project.
  • Every member of your team must be onsite during the development of your project, and you may only submit a project if you actually attend the event.
