Biddie's 1!!!

I made a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. If you can't tell by the pictures, she enjoyed it very much. I still can't believe my lil'baby is already one and walking. It's gone by way to fast. Where does the time go?

Eli's Halloween Party

Eli's birthday is Sept.13th but Joe was on one of his Med-Ward rotations, hence he was NEVER around, so I asked Eli if he wanted to have a Halloween party in October. Of course he got really excited and said "Yeah!" We had tons of kids here at the house enjoying the great weather and each others costumes. I made his pumpkin cake and doughnut eyeballs. For their activities they painted pumpkins and make glue ghosts, which I have to say turned out really really cute!

A New Start: Part 2

Well it was a nice attempt to try and post every once in a while but I really didn't think it would be 3 months! Either I'm busier than I thought or I'm lazy... maybe both? As far as what's been going on it's sick month. Reigan got sick last week with a bad cough now Finlee's got a head cold which is settling in her eyes plus a cough. I took her to the doctor and they've got her on medicine, which I need to go get. The boys are fine they have their daddy's immune system I guess, never sick.
You know what kills me every time I get on someone's blog it's about what craft they've done, what they've made and for the life of my I have no idea how they do it. I have four kids one which is in school so at least three running around the house 24/7 I have no time for blogging; I have no time for baking really cute things; I have no time to sit down and do really cute crafts it takes what little energy I have to keep up on the laundry, dishes, sweeping, tidying, cooking, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, vacuuming, and whatever else I'm running around doing! How on earth do they do it? It makes me wonder if their house is a pig sty but they have really cute crafts around the house or maybe they have someone to come in a clean their house for them. Maybe they don't have kids I don't know, but I do know that once my kids are asleep for the night all I want to do is nothing! Sure I would love to do crafts after the kids are in bed, I think it would be a bit therapeutic but I find it a chore to lug 3 kids to Hobby Lobby or Michaels pulling them this way and that trying to keep them from touching everything they pass asking if we can get it! Too much trouble and stress! I should just suck it up and do it.
I think I'll try to post something on here more often, heck I post new things on Facebook all the time. Ok that's it my first New Years resolution but I'll start it now not later. We'll just see how this goes.

First time for anything

Tonight is my first night at this. I know I'm behind by what... years- whatever who cares, I don't. This is my attempt to start a journal, my online journal that the world can read. I haven't written in any type of journal since I was about 18, so ten years! My gosh I'm behind. So much to talk about and catch up on. (I love this, it's so much faster than writing!) Joe's on call tonight so I'm stinkin tired and it's late and on top of that I didn't sleep good last night. Three of my four kids were up last night for one reason or another- Eli, Kale, and Fin. Oh, before I quit for the night I've got two things to say. First, Reigan flooded the downstairs bathroom and it went into the playroom and in front of the bathroom door, very wet down there. Joe ran home real quick to help with damage control then went back to work. He does love me so! But to end on a good note, Finlee started clapping tonight and it was really really cute. I'll write more tomorrow and begin my trek to catch up on the last 10 years!
