So tonight she was out playing with grandma in the backyard and my mom told her she was going to Cold Stone with grandpa. Brin promptly followed with "Would you like me to go with you?" She is constantly making us laugh. Of course how could grandma say no to that. As they were pulling out of the driveway she said "A little air back here!" Its funny how she can be so sweet and sassy as the same time. We love you Brinley.

Kids are Hilarious

I was watching Gabe and Kelly's kids this morning and over heard a conversation between Brin and her cousin Hailey.
Hailey: "Lets play dating. I'm the girl and you can be the boy"
Brinley: "I don't want to be a boy, how about we are both girls"
Hailey: "Then how can we date if we are both girls"
Brinley: "Well, lets pretend that there are boys"
Hailey: "No"
Brinley: "Okay, how about I be the boy and you can be the girl"
Hailey: "Sure"
I could not stop laughing. They are so sweet to each other and have really become great little friends

Words of a 2 Year Old

Here are a few of the funny conversations Brinley and I have had lately. I had to write them down before I forgot them. She comes up with new stuff every day that makes me laugh.

Brin: "Mom I have diarrhea"

Mom: "Oh, know thats not good"

Brin: "Ya, because I have the hiccups"

Mom: "Well that would explain it"

Brin: "Mom you stink"

Mom: "Ya, its probably my breath"

Brin: "Mom you are suppose to tooty in the potty"

Mom: "Thanks a lot Brin"

Brin's Prayer: "Heavenly Father, have a good day, thanks for Gavin and Livvy, bless food, The End" Why she didn't say Amen I have no idea.

Hogal Zoo

We took Brin to the zoo last month because we heard there was a baby elephant and and albino Alligator. Those of you that know Brin know that she has an obsession with Alligators and Crocodiles. Little did we know that there was a baby giraffe and baby tigers. She loved the babies but we didn't get to see the alligators. The second I walked into the reptile area I started to dry heave. Someone had the worse body odor that I had ever smelled. It was probably amplified due to the fact that I was 12 weeks pregnant.

Some of you might be wondering whats with the chubby lady. The picture is actually about her back pack. Rick and a few of his brother in-laws like to take pictures of random things that they find humorous. We have a few with some guys hairy butt crack, one of a huge disgusting zit on someones back they saw in the airport. Rick actually took one of a picture of a sister missionary who looks exactly like Betty on the tv show Ugly Betty.

This was my favorite part of the whole trip to the zoo. The rino was holding perfectly still for quite a while and Brin said "Oh sad, the rino is broken daddy!" We started laughing so hard. She has said a few more things that I will have to post that are so hilarious. The other night we were taking how she is going to be a big sister and she said "mom can a stay small for just a little while?" I said she could stay little as long as she wants. I wish she could stay little forever. She is so sweet. We love her to pieces and can't imagine life without her.

Famous Daves Anyone?

Rick was out of town and sent me this picture of his dinner that night. The guys said it was the best ribs they had ever had and wondered why we didn't have a Famous Daves in Utah. They looked it up the next day and guess what we do. There are I think 3 or 4 of them in the Salt Lake area. So we went there for my birthday dinner. All I have to say is "Yum". I like ribs but these babies are my new obsession. They were so tender and juicy and you would not believe the amount of meat on them. Those of you who like ribs this is the place to go. I am getting hungry just thinking about them.

What a Stinker

Brin loves to see herself when we have the video camera out. You know how you can turn the little screen around so the person can see themselves while being recorded. Rick attempted to record Brin on his phone but it didn't go over so well because she wasn't able to see herself. She is such a stinker!

White Trash

Ya, I know my baby has not clothes on. Rick was working in the front yard all day and Brin was a total mess. She was having to much fun playing in the water and the mud. I am usually one of those moms that hates when their kids get their clothes dirty and always have to have a clean shirt on them. She was just to dang cute trying to help Rick out in the yard. I stripped her down outside due to the muddy clothes and then she managed to run a way from me. Why do little kids love to be naked? So here she is in all her glory and proud of it. It only lasted a couple of minutes until I dragged her into the house kicking and screaming. I wonder what our neighbors were thinking!

Makes My Skin Crawl

We were hanging out on the back porch and noticed this huge spider by the rain gutter. I couldn't believe how big it was. I can honestly say that I hate spiders. They make my stomach churn and my skin crawl. Rick wanted to see what it would do when the sun went down so we waited to kill it. When we went out to see if it was busy working on its web that night we got a surprise. It actually had a grasshopper stuck in its web and was hard at work wrapping it up. It was grossing me out to much so Rick finally got the spray out and killed it. It is kind of sad how long it takes for them to die though. But thinking that that spider could have been crawling on my baby at night and given her the swollen eye made me not feel that bad.

Pool Party

My family all went over to my parents good friends, Karen and Kevins house for a pool party on the 24th of July. The food was great the company was great and the pool was so much fun. Brin loves to go swimming, especially with her daddy.

Here is Tauni and Kelly with their two little ones. So cute. This was the second year we have done this on the 24th. Maybe it will become a tradition? Thank you Karen for always inviting us over to your beautiful home and fun back yard. You are the best host.

Fun with Friends

This was taken a few months ago. We had gone out to dinner with Jeff and Darlene. They had ridden their bikes and when Brin saw Isa getting into it she had to go with her. Thanks Jeff for letting her tag along with you. She had so much fun. This was a few days after we took her to the doctor for her swollen eye. She still looked pretty beat up though.

Finally An Update

This was taken back in July. Rick walked into Brinleys room to get her out of bed one morning and said "mommy you need to come here!" My first reaction wasn't the best. I gasped, which scared Brin even more than the fact that she couldn't open one of her eyes. She got the saddest face but she didn't cry. She is our tough girl. We are pretty sure it was a spider bite so we had someone come and spray for spiders.

I am doing at home airbrush tanning. I found a pop up tent that is used for airbrush tanning and decided I needed to get back into doing my esthetics. Check out the new blog at rockstarmakeover.blogspot.com.

Summer Fun with Cousins

Brin loves when Gavin and Livvy came to play. We got out the blow-up pool and the kids were in there for a few hours. They were burned out pretty fast because of getting in and out of the pool a million times. Only if life could be stress free when you're an adult!

The above picture Brin was chasing Sophie, my moms dog. "Come here soph, soph!" She and Olivia have really become really great friends. I love to watch them play make believe together and listen to the funny things they come up with.

Fun in the Mud

We were visiting at Grandma and Grandpa Swensens a few Sundays ago. All of the sudden it got very quiet and we knew the girls were up to something. They had been playing in the muddy gutter water. Brin's dress was soaked but she was having so much fun we couldn't help but laugh and get out the camera.

Isa is 1 Year Old

The Sosa's know how to throw a party.  It was so much fun.  For Isa's first birthday they go all out.  There was a big blowup slide and a pinata.  She had the cutest birthday cake that was a Castle with all the Disney Princesses on it.  I just wish that the mom had had more fun.  Darlene was running around like crazy the whole time.  The party turned out perfect.  It was so much fun.  

Three Blue Tongues & One Sucker?

These three are trouble when they get together.  Rick walked in Brin's room and they were in her crib playing.  The next thing he noticed was the blue tongues but only one sucker!  How did that happen.  Gavin is so dang funny.  He has the most sensitive gag reflex in the world.  He started to dry heave because he was sticking out his tongue.  Sorry Tauni I had to post it.  It was to funny.

Easter 2009

I can't believe this was Brin's 3rd Easter.  Time is flying by.  It was so fun to watch her this year go find the eggs.  Every time she would see one she would shout "I see it, I see it"  it was pretty cute.  We are so grateful for our many blessings and love our little one so much.  I can't wait to see what she does next year.

Our Big Boys

The boys have really become such good friends.  I love to watch them wrestle and have fun together.  Mac is turning 1 at the end of this month and is still growing.  He is a t 135 pounds.  We are hoping he won't get to close to the 200 pound mark because that is when they start to have health problems.  Ozzy turns 5 today and he looks like a baby compared to Mac.  We'll have to get a better picture so you can see the difference in size.  We love our boys so much. 

She Discovered the IPod

Rick let Brin listen to music on his IPod the other day and she thought it was the coolest thing ever.  She walked around the house singing and dancing. When it came time to put it away you can imagine how that turned out.
