Synovate is an exciting robotics hackathon where participants come together to design, prototype, and pitch innovative robotics and AI solutions addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Over the course of the event, teams work hands-on with cutting-edge tools, guided by mentors and industry experts, to tackle real global challenges—from clean energy and sustainable cities to quality education, healthcare, and climate action.

Participants brainstorm, build, and refine their ideas into functional prototypes or detailed concepts, ultimately presenting their solutions to a judging panel. The best projects are recognized with exciting prizes and unique opportunities, making Synovate a powerful platform for creativity, impact-driven engineering, and next-generation problem solving.

Requirements

Participants will be required to submit original, creative solutions developed during the ideathon that align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Submissions should demonstrate how the robotics concepts and technologies learned during the course can be applied to solve real-world challenges. Each team must present a clear problem statement, an innovative robotics-based solution, and a brief explanation of its potential impact. Prototypes, presentations, or design concepts are encouraged, and projects will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, sustainability, and relevance to the chosen SDG.
