Galapagos Part 3: San Cristobal

We all survived our 3rd and last boat ride between the islands!

This time we stayed at a hotel with a pool. It was very cute and had a great breakfast!

Nightlife

We saw so many baby sealions. They made unusual sounds, but were so cute.

We did a hike up to Las Tijeretas. More walking than some of the kids wanted to do, but so beautiful. My mom and I explored the museum that told all about the history of the islands. Then we hiked up part of the mountain with a great lookout. There was a cove that we snorkeled in too. Lots of amazing fish and other sea life.

After the snorkeling, we went to Playa Carola and this Sea Lion had a nice nap snuggled up by our things. We are supposed to stay 6 feet away so we kept moving our things further from him.

Pool fun!

We got to spend Halloween here so since we didn't really have much as far as costumes, we made face masks.

My dad's got first place.

It was so great to share this fun adventure with my parents. We kept them on their toes with all we did.

My kind of place!

We thought this was our las night, but the airline moved our flight up and we didn't see the notification so we had to rebook for the next day. At least we were in an awesome place!!

Back at Las Tijeretas for more snorkeling

This was La Loberia playa and although not pictured, there were tons of sea lions here. We came here several times because the snorkeling was so good. We saw a sting ray, several sea turtles and a ginormous school of large fish! And of course loved all the sea lions.

Our favorite restaurant in San Cristobal. Their limonada rosada was spectacular!

We are so grateful for all we saw and did on this amazing trip!! We were so impressed by how small the cities were on each island and how they have tried to keep it a natural place for all the wildlife and plant life. We loved exploring and learning so much!
