Our History
Founded in January 2000 by industry veterans Mike Maynard and Richard “Dick” Nelson, TCI Manufacturing, headquartered in Walnut, IL, was built on a foundation of expertise in the aggregate sector. With a mission to provide exceptional, tailored solutions, the company set out to address the evolving needs of the industry.
Starting with conveyors, TCI quickly expanded its product line to include a broad range of equipment, such as high-frequency screens, portable and stationary screening and crushing systems, wash plants, vibratory feeders, bins/hoppers, sand screws, and custom fabrication services. Our focus on quality, innovation, and customer support has fueled TCI’s impressive growth over the years.
Today, operating from state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, TCI is recognized as a leader in the industry. President
Patrick Reaver, President of TCI Manufacturing, has been leading the company since joining in 2020 after 20 years in the industry. With a wealth of experience, Patrick drives TCI’s mission to deliver high-quality, customized solutions for bulk material handling. His leadership focuses on innovation and precision, guiding the company’s growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. Patrick’s strategic vision has been instrumental in expanding TCI’s product offerings and market reach, allowing the company to adapt to evolving industry demands while maintaining its commitment to quality. Under his direction, TCI has solidified its position as a leader in the industry, known for its excellence in engineering and customer service. Patrick lives in Sterling, IL, with his wife, Jessica, and their three children.
Jack Ackerman
VP of Key Accounts
Jack Ackerman is the Vice President of Key Accounts at TCI Manufacturing, where he has been a key contributor since joining the company in 2008. Jack has been instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with TCI’s most important clients, ensuring their needs are met with customized, high-quality solutions. He lives in Princeton, IL, with his wife, Vicky. Together, they have raised three children.
Kelan Moylan
VP of Sales
Kelan Moylan is the Vice President of Sales at TCI Manufacturing, where he has been a driving force in the sales department for over 15 years. Throughout his tenure, Kelan has consistently excelled in various sales roles, ultimately leading to his current position as VP of Sales. His deep knowledge of the industry and commitment to understanding customer needs, coupled with his constant contact with customers, have been key to TCI’s growth and success. Kelan’s strategic approach to sales has not only expanded TCI’s market presence but also strengthened long-term client relationships. Kelan lives in Bettendorf, IA, with his wife, Jayme, and their three children.
Tim Mandrell
VP of Product Support
Tim Mandrell is the Vice President of Product Support at TCI Manufacturing, where he has expanded the company’s parts, service, and support teams since 2021. With a career rooted in the aggregate industry, Tim brings extensive experience and knowledge to his role. His deep understanding of industry challenges allows him to lead his teams in providing exceptional support to TCI’s customers. Tim lives in Rock Falls, IL, with his wife, Amy, and their three children—two in college and one in high school.
Will Shane
Engineering Manager
Will Shane is the Engineering Manager at TCI Manufacturing, where he has been a vital contributor for over 20 years. As a veteran of the company, Will has played a key role in TCI’s development and success. Leading the engineering department, he oversees all efforts to ensure TCI’s products meet top standards of quality and innovation. Known for managing complex projects from concept to completion, Will consistently delivers solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Brandon Ackerman
Sales Coordinator
Brandon is the Sales Coordinator at TCI Manufacturing, where he has been a key contributor for over 10 years. In addition to his role as Sales Coordinator, he also serves as an estimator, providing accurate and detailed cost assessments that are critical to the company’s project planning and execution. His responsibilities include coordinating sales activities, managing customer inquiries, and assisting with the implementation of sales strategies. Brandon’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction help drive the success of TCI’s sales efforts, contributing to the company’s growth and reputation in the industry. He lives in Princeton, IL, with his wife, Melissa, and their two children.
Chad E. Colby
Marketing Director
Chad E. Colby has led TCI Manufacturing’s marketing since becoming the company’s first-ever Marketing Director in 2023. With over 25 years of experience, Chad oversees all marketing efforts, including trade shows and social media, with a focus on boosting brand visibility and expanding the customer base. A pioneer in the drone industry, he has pushed UAV technology beyond photography into 3D modeling and site analysis, ensuring TCI stays at the forefront of innovation. Chad works closely with TCI’s engineering team to integrate these advanced drone applications, enhancing precision and efficiency across projects. He lives in Deer Creek, IL, with his wife, Jacqueline, and their three children.
