ARGH the stupid!
Sometimes the stupid just get's to me
Me: "Thank you for calling $company. How can I help?"
Luser: The OS disk says it can't install on my machine.
Me: Ok, ... $machine id?
Luser: I don't have one.
Me: it's a sticker on the top or side of the tower.
Luser: I don't have a machine from $company.
Me: But you called $company, but you don't have one of our machines?
Luser: That's right, I bought your reinstall xp cd off ebay.
