About the TechWise Insider

The TechWise Insider is a tech blog created by Panos Sakalakis. The content published on this blog includes anything tech-related, from blogging, podcasting, content marketing, SEO, monetization, and organization to tech guides, reviews, personal opinions, recommendations, artificial intelligence, and many more.

Usually, I’m focusing on topics that I know well, including using specific platforms and tools and reviewing tech-related things that I love, but occasionally, you may see my thoughts on other topics, too. I’ll also be sharing my journey as a writer, as I am currently writing my first sci-fi novel.

Fun Fact (for no reason at all): The first blog post on TechWise Insider was published on 01/01/2024 at 7:40 pm.

There’s also a Podcast coming up, but I’ll tell you more about it soon.

The focus here is for TechWise Insider to produce original and high-quality content, and especially detailed tech guides with step-by-step instructions.

About Panos Sakalakis

I’m Panagiotis Sakalakis (but you can call me Panos), the tech-obsessed brain behind the TechWise Insider. I’m from a small city somewhere in Northern Greece. At the ripe old age of 31 (a fine vintage, if I say so myself), as a one-person show, TechWise Insider is my new project and a way to improve my English writing skills and, potentially, reach a wider audience.

With over 17+ years of experience in web development, server setup and management, blogging, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), by day, I’m a freelance web wizard (or I’d like to think so) who’s either behind his monitor writing, or on a bike trail, on some mountain, somewhere.

Artificial Intelligence (ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, Easy Diffusion, Ollama, Open WebUI, Linux AI setup).
Operating Systems (Windows, all Linux distros but Arch is preferable, macOS, Android, iOS, ChromeOS).

I’m currently spending most of my time writing my next sci-fi novel and learning more about artificial intelligence, how it works, how to train my own AI models, how to generate high-quality and detailed outputs, and so much more around the technology that’s came to change our lives forever.

In my spare time, I love creating WordPress plugins (which I never intend to publish anywhere, but they’re really helpful for some tasks), designing my own themes (which I intend to publish here), and I am a 5:00 A.M. person.

I started my first blog back when I was only 14 years old, and from that moment until the end of 2023, I was only producing content (blog posts, podcasts, and videos) exclusively in Greek. After a weird year and at the end of 2023, I purchased the domain name TechWiseInsider.com and published my first blog post on the first day of 2024. From a simple idea to a full-time project, TechWise Insider is my number one focus at this time of writing.

I’ve also got more domains than a bingo game, but that has nothing to do with anything…

The TechWise Insider is a blog, a podcast channel, and one of my most beloved personal projects when it comes to blogging. It’s also a great way to master my English writing.

Speaking of writing in English, keep in mind that I am Greek, and I learned English on my own. Grammarly was a tremendous help on my writing journey, but you may end up finding mistakes here and there. I’m still learning, so thank you for understanding!
