Okay, so, Visual Basic isn't bad. It takes care of the interface, and leaves you with most of the coding, to do. It's quite nice in that sense. So what if it's slow, and needs like 2 megs in support dlls. Heh. I should check out delphi. Too bad I'm totally inept at pascal.
I hope phrack makes tshirts one day, I would gladly pay for a phrack tshirt. I would gladly pay for MULTIPLE phrack tshirts, possibly a phrack hoodie, or sweatshirt, a mug, or even one of those hardcover books they've apparently been selling/giving away at cons.
I'm writing this paging thing in Visual Basic, using JabberCOM. It would be nice, to have some sort of wireless paging device. Like a PDA, with a wireless card, or something. I could just carry that around the house with me, and be paged when shit happens. I.e. People get online, get in irc, the server goes down, the apocalypse is comming, you know, inane things. Oh well, for now, I'll stick to a system tray icon...
I was looking at dell laptops the other day, they have this inspiron 2600, which is attractive, if for the number only. Too bad it doesn't have tv out. The more expensive models do though. The most expensive model has a GeForce 4 for christsakes, what the shit is that? Oh yeah
I hope the car gets fixed tommorrow, I kinda don't think it will, since the mechanics don't work on the weekend, and they said four days, on thursday, or friday. Oh well, I can still hope, dammit!
