  • STATE BAR OF TEXAS JUDICIAL POLL

At the direction of the Supreme Court of Texas, the State Bar of Texas is conducting a poll of the contested Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, and courts of appeals district races on the 2026 primary election ballot.

This is a non-partisan straw poll of current State Bar members. It is a preference poll only and has no bearing on the election. Results of the judicial poll should not be viewed as an endorsement by the State Bar of Texas, which does not endorse or oppose candidates. The judicial poll is intended to improve the legal system and better inform the public about the Texas judiciary.

The poll will be conducted electronically, and e-ballots will be emailed to all Texas attorneys who are in good standing. Be sure to check your spam filter and junk mail folder if you do not receive the email. Attorneys may also vote online at the link below.
