1. Thanksgiving dinner at Nan's
2. Christmas with family (Robbie and Kristin and fam drove up from California.)
3. Logan started walking.
4. Logan started running.
5. Logan started climbing.
6. Logan started screaming.
7. We got another surprise of our lives on January 11 when we found out that we were having another baby! This one will be a boy and Jolene is in her third trimester already.
8. Logan turned one and ate as much chocolate cake as he could fit into his little belly.
9. Tera and fam came to visit for a few months.
10. Justin, Lisa, Jolene and I went to Vegas to see the Blue Man group.
Logan is 15 months now and is so smart! He likes to try to put on his shoes whenever he sees one laying around. He can open and close the Velcro on them and sticks his toes in. We've been taking him to seven peaks a lot lately since we got season passes. He LOVES it! He loves playing in the water. He has no fear. He will wade in the kiddy area chest deep. Sometimes he trips and takes a nose dive into the water but we scoop him up and it doesn't phase him. He loves to crawl back and forth through the tunnel where the water drips down on you. Jolene even follows him through with her big preggo belly. It's fun. :)
We also have been to the provo splash pad a couple times. It's on center and 500 w. He loves that too. And whenever we have the hose spraying at home he tries to run into the water. And he loves baths. We have a water baby for sure.
Baby in the belly is doing well too as far as I know. At our 20 week ultrasound he was diagnosed with SUA which is single umbilical artery. Usually the umbilical cord has a vein and two arteries, but his only has one vein and one artery. He doesn't have any other abnormalities so he should be fine but with SUA he might not get all the nutrients he needs so they are keeping a closer eye on his growth. That means Jo is getting more ultrasounds than normal and as of her last appointment they already bumped her appointments up to every other week instead of every 4 weeks. We are still thinking of names for this little guy.
Today Logan started putting his hands up to his face and saying boo! Playing peek a boo. He is so cute. He likes to throw things into the tub like my shoes or the tv remote. He is getting good at picking up his toys and putting them in his toy box at the end of the day. We are starting to do that with him every night along with family scripture and prayer. He sleeps from about 8:30pm to 8:30am every night and takes a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. He can say several words now like hat, mommy, daddy, door, up, NO!, dirt, baby, more, dubba-dee, light, knee, nose. He knows his body parts: eyes, ears, mouth, nose, knee, fingers, toes, hair, tongue, feet, belly, bum bum, and can point them all out. He tries to brush his own teeth and when I hold out his clothes he tries to stick his head in his shirt and step into his pants. He is still a good eater too but he's still a little guy. I love him so much!
Last night when we all sat down on the couch for family scripture study and pulled out our family scriptures Logan immediately folded his arms before we could even tell him too. I am so thankful for all of the influences in my life and Jolene's life that is getting passed down to a wonderful, happy boy. It's amazing seeing how our faith is rubbing off on Logan. We tell him that there is a God. He believes us. We tell him that we can be together as a family forever. He believes us. We tell him that Jesus suffered for our sins. He believes us. If we can just keep working on our own testimonies and examples, our children we see and follow them. At least that is my hope and prayer.
That's all I have for now, but more info and pictures will be coming soon.
