it's not been a very artful year but it has been a very busy one ...... I am wishing all of you a wonderful Holiday Season and a safe opening of another year .... here's hoping 2014 bring happiness, health and art to everyone .......

Tim Holtz inspired Christmas tag

again for an online swap ..... using stains on wet tag, then drying it and then splatting with water drops and letting that sit and then blotting to pick up some of the color ... then using Picket Fence stain on a stamp to stamp on tag and last but not least wink-a-stella brushes to give it some bling ... at the end I stamped in black Tim's Noel stamp and blinged it with Stickles and added Tim's Christmas charm a blinged snowflake and some jingle bells at the top ...

Christmas bags for online swap

I used the G45 paper from the "12 days of Christmas"  8x8" pad and Tim Holtz Vintage Lace and Poinsettia dies, then I blinged them up with Stickles and Wink-a -Stella brushes ... I did a 3rd but forgot to take a photo before mailing it off .....

First of the Christmas Cards

Stock image on Clorox stamped cardstock with leather string tie and Tim Holtz Christmas charm

Paper from my stash or 3 years or more ago ... mulberry paper torn under stock image, snowflake buttons and sheer ribbon

Thanksgiving Cards

I printed on canvas my stock images then tore and pinked around them to sew onto cardstock

I lined the envelope with the paper for the turkey card and used Tim Holtz little tattered leaves diecut for the leaves on the little boy card

Happy Halloween ....

I made the card using a #12 Tim Holtz black tag, folded it in half and die cut the end with the Tim Holtz twig boarder die

front layers are stock images, 1/2 doily, cardstock and glitter pumpkin, pinned to ribbon is a tiny skull bead with Tim's tiny pin

Used the Tim Holtz tree diecut to make black tree on orange cardstock with half doily behind ... made a pocket using Tim Holtz die to cut orange and black cardstock then tape together to form pocket

used cardstock and stamps to make tags and a Halloween Bingo card

Altered Composition Book

Using 1 12x12, 7 Gypsy paper ... stock image ... Tim Holtz Coordination cardstock

front - I cut around birds to slide in doily I had inked to black

inside front cover stock image torn layered on off white cardstock the torn Tim Holtz coordination cardstock

back I used scraps from front then accented with black masking tape that matched spine

Almost ready for my Summer Art Retreat

I go on an annual Summer Art Retreat with a great group of ladies from an online group I belong to ... this is our 8th year of meeting and having fun ...... This year we each have done our own Beach Junk Journal and during the retreat 3 people will work in our books and I will finish mine .... I will post what the Junk Journal turns out to be after the retreat and share other photo's as well later ...... hope you enjoy, it's been a long dry art spell for me ........
