New beginnings

Jeremy got me a sewing machine for mothers day last year and I have yet to do anything with it. With my work schedule changing soon, I'm hoping to put this baby to work! I've been checking out cute sites and have a ton of ideas to try. I haven't sewed since home economics in 7th grade but am excited to try again. If you have any ideas, please throw them my way!

It's a new year!

Christmas is over and 2012 has begun. We are looking forward to what the year has in store for us. (just as soon as the pink eye we all have goes away :/

Here is a quick update on us:

Jeremy is still working at Verizon. He has some jeep projects in the works (as always!) He likes his calling with the priests and hopes to go to Alaska with friends in September.

Jaime is working at AmCheck but is looking forward to a new 4 day work schedule starting this month. It will allow me more time with my kids and I hope to start volunteering more at Ethan's school.

Ethan is in 1st grade and loving it. He loves playing on anything electronic. He loves Caitlin and loves fighting with her.

Caitlin is such a big girl! Her vocabulary has taken off the last few months. I hope to start potty training her this month. She loves her daycare and baby dolls. She also loves to boss our dog Bailey around.

Kindergarten Graduation and Last day of School

It's official!! Ethan graduated from Kindergarten. It's amazing how much he has grown in the past year. We are so proud of him. He only missed 4 days of school and that was only for our Disney Trip and the dentist. We love Ethan and are so proud with his progress this year.

Ethan's first lost tooth

Ethan had some dental work done and one of his teeth ended up needing to be pulled. He was so excited for the Tooth Fairy to visit. His dentist gave him a cute plastic tooth container to hold his tooth for the Tooth fairy. The Tooth Fairy left him $5, new toothpaste and dental floss. He was so excited and used his money to buy Star Wars Legos.

Schnepf Farm's Peach Festival

Schnepf Farms had their peach festival a few weeks ago. You could pick peaches right from the tree. The kids had fun picking peaches, riding the hay ride and sampling different types of peach food.

Ethan's Spring Sing

Ethan's school had a Spring Sing with Patriotic songs. It was so cute. He is right in front in red.

Easter!

We had a great Easter. The kids went to several Easter Egg hunts and Caitlin learned quickly how to grab as many eggs as you can. The Easter Bunny found our house and the kids were excited. They found all the eggs and had fun dyeing eggs on Saturday. Sunday afternoon we met our cousins at the park and had another Easter Egg hunt.
