Catch Up & Recipes

Well cheers to 2015!
Here's a quick list of whats new here since I posted last & a few fav recipes we  have been repeating at our house!

Sept:
Oct: We took our last ride on the boat before putting it away for winter. We sure enjoyed a summer full of water fun. Grandma Cindy also came to visit and we canned tomatoes.

Nov: Grandma Kristen came to visit for halloween & Bens/Jaces birthday. Jace started walking! Ben enjoyed a night away hunting too! We spent thanksgiving with the wilson extended family at Aunt Moves house so fun seeing cousins! This was Bens first time to my aunt moes farm, & it was great sharing favorite memories from my childhood.

Dec: This year we enjoying flying to Utah and spending christmas with the Jumper family! We got a chance to spend a few days with wilson cousins too. It was such a memorable trip!

Jan: It's busy season again for Ben(him getting shingles due to stress sure proves this)! I have been math tutoring lots, which I am so lucky to be able to do from home. Easton is our BIG boy and is wearing undies day/night. We couldn't be prouder! This month it sure is fun seeing our two little boys be best buds, playing together, & watching Jace want to do everything Easton does. Jace is such a talker too.

Hope everyone reading this is healthy and happy and is staying warm this January. Until next time... :)

maralee gave this recipe to us and we are in love love love!

* the "deceptively delicious cookbook", we've tried mac n cheese, applesauce muffins, rice Krispy treats, and grilled cheese sandwiches... I cant believe my kids are eating this stuff... whatever I can do to sneak veggies!

*crockpot cilantro lime chicken on pinterest (make tacos or serve over rice)

*NO CHILL SUGAR COOKIES- so easy for ♡day!!
(This is my favorite from my mom in law & everyone who eats them asks for it)
3.5 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
.25 tsp salt
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c soft butter
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla or 2 tsp almond extract

Combine with mixer. Roll out 1/8 inch or alittle thicker on flour surface. Cut out cookies. Bake 350 for 9-11 min on greased sheet.

MINNESOTA
Beep Beep! Minnesota here we come!

We met Papa and Grandma for breakfast on our drive. They were driving to Utah.

We all made it in one piece. Easton loved unpacking! ;)

Since our big move:

  • Easton got 5 new teeth - all molars
  • Ben painted 4 rooms in our house beige. So much better than purple rooms with pink closets.
  • I have almost finished all the drapery for our new casa.
  • We've discovered we have a big helper around the house. Lately Easton
    • helped Ben paint
    • helps me unload the dishes by throwing the silverware in the correct drawer
