We're going private. Okay...I know, some will be annoyed. I used to feel that way about it too, but really it's not that hard to sign into your google account is it?? I hope you'll still want to stop by and check in on us occasionally. There's really no big reason, I just will feel more comfortable about posting personal info.
If you want an invite, please leave me a comment with your email address if you think I may not have it, and I will erase it after I add you. Or you can email me at bruinity@hotmail.com with your email address. Don't be shy! Even if you think I don't know you, I probably do, so let me know who you are!!

Legoland - 3/25/09
Also in celebration of Quin's birthday, we decided to go check out Legoland. We'd heard it was way fun for little kids and that our kids would be perfect ages for it. It was true, and the kids loved every minute of it!! For those that haven't been, they have a ton of stuff there made out of Legos. Here's some photos of their favorite rides.

Quin & Daddy on the nursery rhyme river ride. As you float along in a lilly pad boat you see scenes from different nursery rhymes built out of Legos.

The kids favorite ride: The jungle safari. As you drive along you see different jungle animals built out of legos. Some even make sounds.
The close second favorite: driving Lego cars. After driving they were each given a "driver's license." They thought that was pretty cool.

The kids also liked spinning around in these airplanes, controlling up and down.

These helicopters were quite fun as well, you could control the up and down motion.

We picked a great day to go to Legoland, we didn't have to wait longer than 15 minutes for any ride. This boat ride was probably the most popular with the crowds. It was fun driving and steering your own boat!
Quick pose with Bob the Builder on our way out!
The Verdict Is In...
We found out the morning of March 25th at our ultrasound. The kids were there and got to see little brother on a big projector, it was really special and exciting! Liberty was the only one who couldn't quite grasp that she wasn't going to get a baby sister after all!! Since then we've been brainstorming on baby boy names...but haven't come to a decision yet. We want something unique, but not too unusual. Any ideas?? By the way my due date is September 5th.
Quin's 4th Bday! 3-24-09
Finally!!!! Quin has been counting down the days in anticipation, he could hardly wait to be able to say, "I'm 4!" He is such a light in our lives, he has a bubbly, happy personality and is so sweet to everyone he meets. He's a great help with little sister Liberty and a cuddle bug with me and his daddy. He is always so quick to tell us how much he loves us and give us hugs, we love it!! He loves being in preschool and learning and interacting with other kids, he enjoys doing anything and everything Drex is doing, especially playing pretend with his brother and sister. It seems like he's always pretending he's someone else. like: "Charlie," or "Bobby," or "Grandpa Steven." Those are the most common ones!! Quin, you are our tender heart. We love you so much, and are so grateful for you!! XOXOXO.
Hiking in Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas: 3-16-09
While we were in Las Vegas visiting Krystal & Bobby they took us out on a hike to a waterfall they like to go to in Red Rock Canyon. We'd never been there before and were in awe of the beauty of this place!! Their dogs, Sandy & Dublin were with us and the kids had a blast getting to walk them along the trails. The hike was fairly short (perfect amount with young kids) and when we reached the waterfall, Bobby & Krystal said it had been way bigger the last time they'd been up there a few weeks prior. It was still running a little though and the weather couldn't have been nicer for a hike. After exploring and taking some pictures, we enjoyed a picnic lunch Bobby had packed and enjoyed the fresh air. It was so, so nice and we can't wait to go there again! Thanks for a fun day Krystal & Bobby!!
Monster Truck Show 3-14-09
So, maybe we do have a little white trash/hick in us...we thought it'd be fun to go to the local monster truck show across town, and it was. I guess it wasn't as fun as I thought it'd be, but it was definately worth going to at least once in a lifetime. There were 4 monster trucks there that night: Nasty Boy (the crowd favorite), Unnamed & Untamed (my favorite), 1/2 Pint, and Terminator. The kids liked the first half of it, but it kinda drug on and on and started getting cold too, so they were ready to go, but we made them stay till the end and enjoyed a pretty cool grand finale. Here's some pics. of our night:

It got kinda loud...the kids liked wearing the ear protection

For his birthday, Quin requested going to Chucky Cheese. We'd never taken the kids there, (haven't really wanted to) but they've seen it on commercials, so we caved in and decided to go. Quin absoluletly loved the "bowling game," a.k.a. skeeball and wants to go back for more!!
