So I have kept little pieces of paper all over the house for the last few years of the cute things my kids say to me from time to time, so some of these quotes aren't so current, and some are....I love their humor, sweetness, and wisdom. I am so blessed to be a mom.:)
Austin 4:(put on a new shirt, and came downstairs smiling really big...so I informed him the he looked extra handsome:)..his response: "um, no mom, I don't ...ok I know I look so awsome."
Savannah 5: (went to the bathroom in a restaurant, and the toilet made weird noises...so as she came out she said) "um, there is definately an alien in the bathroom."
Austin 4: "Mom when I grow up I am gonna be a 'hooper' (basketball ball player)."
Mom: Wow! where do you want to go on your mission before you are a 'hooper'.
Austin: "um, outerspace."
Savannah 5: (Sav was really sick with the flu a couple of weeks ago, and she was crying for her dad to come home...finally she said, "mom I need dad to come home cause he has medicine in his keys that will make me better."
Caleb 9:(the kids where playing jump rope with my mom when she came to visit recently...) "Grandma, I can't believe you are that old and jumping!" "....Aren't you gonna need a walking stick kinda soon?"
Savannah @ age 3: (was throwing a tantrum...and informed me that she didn't like me anymore, and she wanted a new mom...) Where are you gonna get your new mom, I asked...."at home depot." she said:)
Caleb @ age 7: Mom: "Caleb, I love your freckles." Caleb: "they are not freckles...they are moles."
Austin @ age 3: (when Ellie was a few months old, she was having a crying fest...and it was starting to stress aust out a bit...so he tryed singing to her, and telling her it was ok...and then he ran over to her toys and grabbed a little pink dragonfly....and brought it to her saying frantically...."Ellie here, here is your little flying mosquito!"
Caleb @ age 7: ..."Mom, are you gonna cook a real dinner...or just use a box like you usually do."
