About The Domain Name Association (The DNA)
The Domain Name Association (The DNA) is the first trade association dedicated to representing the entire domain name industry. Founded to advance understanding, trust, and innovation in domain names, The DNA promotes best practices, educational initiatives, and collaboration across the Internet infrastructure ecosystem.
In 2020, The DNA merged with the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition) to strengthen industry-wide efforts around security, privacy, and adoption of new domain-related technologies. Today, The DNA continues as a division of i2Coalition—focused on promoting a healthier, more inclusive domain name space.
