A morning walk

The beauty of living in Colorado is that almost everyday is a good day to go on a walk. The beauty of having Genevieve is that even a walk becomes a true Fancy Nancy rendevous.

The vacuum obsession

Some genes are good to pass on. The fact that our kids think tooting is funny maybe genetically inherited from their dad, but it's one that we would rather not pass to the next generation. The fact that Brooks is obsessed with cleaning up after himself is something that luckily his mom passed on to him. Brooks is quick to grab his toy vacumn the moment cheerios hit the floor.

Starting Pre-Kindergarten

Our big girl just keeps on getting bigger. With age four, G was ready to start a three day a week pre-kindergarten class. For such a social girl, seeing friends almost everyday is a dream. Becca signed on to be the class mom, which is an awesome way for us to get to know all of the families that go to G's school.

Toothbrushes!

Our dentist has got to love the fact that Brooks' favorite toy for several months was a toothbrush. Going to church? Toothbrush required. Banging on pots and pans? Only if a toothbrush is his drumstick. Going to bed? Not without at least two toothbrushes in his crib. Cavities? Not a chance.

Helping Daddy

Brooks is a big fan of helping daddy. If something requires any kind of assembly, Brooks is on top of it, often waiting with screwdriver in hand waiting for instructions.
