Kurt and Blaine do Halloween, everybody.

I should've done this earlier, so this applies to both the last while and probably for a while after this. I have a lot of srs stuff going on irl, which much as I hate it, makes camp very low in the list of things that need my attention. I'm going to make an effort to be around more, but yes, it will be very slow going. Sorry for being such a flake, ugh. /o\

In other news, I get my other two wisdom teeth taken out on Monday. Painkillers, here I come. /o/

LJ is seriously hindering my attempts at becoming popular on the internet!! Comment here so we can figure out what threads we should've had in December and January, that we will have as soon as we're fully set up on Dreamwidth.

Basically, if I was planning on threading with you, or you were planning on threading with me, but we weren't able to make it happen for some reason, let us talk about it so we can make plans and get excited for the move. And since my mind is like a sieve, it'll also help me keep track of who I owe threads to. \o/

- As Alison posted the other day (thank you!!), my screen randomly died the other day. The screen itself isn't very old, just three years, so I'm hoping it won't cost too much to have it fixed. I'm in the process of finding someone who'll fix it for cheap and for quick.

- That's because my back-up option is my brother's old laptop which shuts itself down after a while and needs to be allowed to rest for hours before it can be used again. RPing (or using two programs at once, lol) on this laptop is practically impossible.

- I had plans to post a letter from Yuuto on the Christmas letter post, but I'll have to hold off until I have my PC back because I need to review voice. :(

- In happier news, I had the foresight to load a bunch of shows onto my ipod to pass the time while at my parents'. And while I, sadly, thought I could go four days without Glee, at least I'm catching up on my other shows. I miss Chris Colfer's face though, guys. This is tragic.

- I'll probably backdate a ton of stuff once I go off hiatus. :)

So Kurt and Blaine are really not okay with the idea of Kurt and Blaine kissing people not called Kurt or Blaine. After a brief bout of insanity/discussion, they decided to hole themselves up in Blaine's humble abode of residence, the F4 lounge, for the whole month, in order to avoid the mistletoe as much as possible. They think it's super romantic and only slightly over the top! I haven't threaded all the relevant threads yet (but I intend to!), but assume Kurt filled in the people who would know/need to know. It's temporary, and Kurt will be back to his usual cabin at the end of the month, most of his stuff is still there.

Kurt does still have a job working for Cindy, and he will still be going to work, but Blaine will be around (also gathering food, necessities, etc). You can pretty much assume that if you talk to either Kurt or Blaine face to face this month, the other one will be in the general vicinity.

I also just broke 4,000 comments with his journal! Which means Kurt's likely to become my third most played character, surpassing Kurono (with 4,480 comments). It's too soon to tell whether he'll reach the likes of Haru and Tohru, who are both past 15,000 comments. Lol, my personal journal is just a little over 4,000 comments. How awkward!

I'm still picking at threads on the canon update post, and in the process of making a new set of icons (my third Kurt set! geez), but what the hell.

ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. Chris Colfer Signs Children's Book Deal

Glee star Chris Colfer has signed a two-book deal with Little Brown, solidifying his status as a bona fide triple threat.

The actor and singer will pen The Land of Stories, a novel for young readers ages 8-12, for a summer 2012 release. The Land of Stories follows twins Alex and Conner Bailey who, with the help of a cherished book of stories, transport themselves to a magical world filled with all of the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.

A second yet-to-be-titled novel will follow.

"When I was 10 years old, I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to write this book, I would jump at the chance," Colfer said in a statement. "This book has been at the core of my imagination for a long time and I'm excited and nervous to share it."

The Land of Stories is just one of a handful of ventures Colfer is working on. Aside from his starring role as Kurt Hummel on Glee, Colfer wrote the screenplay for his upcoming feature film debut, Struck by Lightning, and wrote a Disney Channel pilot based on the children's book, The Little Leftover Witch. The Golden Globe winner is currently on tour with the Glee cast.

Now if someone could just get this guy a nap!

Perhaps this is bold of me, since there are no appers for either that I know of. At any rate, in case there is interest . . . If you're thinking of apping:

Karofsky: I don't know if there's enough canon, check with the mods. I'm cool with a Karofsky, though you might want to check in with the rest of the cast as well. That said, I'd appreciate a heads up, and to hear your thoughts and expectations for the guy.

Blaine: I don't think he's appable quite yet, but again, check with the mods because I could be wrong. I'm also fine with a Blaine and I think he could be pretty fun. No heads up necessary! Though I'd love to hear your thoughts and expectations for the hobbit as well. :>

IDK. Hi! I love posting to this journal, although I always want to switch out the icon set again.

With the impending arrival of Sam, I'm updating Kurt all the way to 2.05. I'll probably include episode 6 once it airs, we'll see.

ETA: What the update brings,

Kurt is no longer crushing on Finn.

He's friendlier towards Rachel, but he was already very friendly with her in camp, so nothing really will change here.

He's friends with Brittany.

Kurt hadn't been attending Glee club rehearsals in camp. He'll start attending rehearsals again.

As a kid, Kurt LOVED pink.

He has a finely tuned gaydar. It's my godmoding ability apparently. I will be treating this with the seriousness it deserves, i.e. tell me your sexual leanings when you first thread with me. :P

However, he'll back off and try not to come off so strongly, courtesy of Duets.

Kurt is going to be a tad more depressed and foreveralone, but you can ignore or pick up on that at all. SO DOES CANON.

P.S. I'll reply to the pending comments from the relationship meme with the update in mind. If you didn't reply to me then and you want an update on Kurt wrt your character, just let me know.

Glee is getting dubbed in Japan, and the actors for the leads have been announced already.

Finn will be dubbed by Daisuke Ono, i.e. Sebastian Michaelis, Shizuo Heiwajima, Jack Vessalius.

Rachel will be dubbed by Maaya Sakamoto, i.e. Ciel Phantomhive, Haruhi Fujioka, Lunamaria Hawke.

Quinn will be dubbed by Nana Mizuki, i.e. Alois Trancy, Moka Akashiya, Hinata Hyuga, Misaki Kirihara.

Will will be dubbed by Toshiyuki Morikawa, i.e. Conrad Weller. Also Sebastian Michaelis and Roy Mustang in the drama CDs for the respective series.

Emma will be dubbed by Hidaka Noriko, i.e. Near, Akane Tendo and Minami Asakura (the latter of which no one gaf save for me, but Minami!!!)

No word yet on who'll dub Kurt, but I figure the chances of him getting dubbed by a female are high. It'd be kind of fun. [more here]

I've done this on my LJ, but I wanted to do it here too:

Give me a word and a pairing/character and I'll write at least a one-sentence fic.

- with the caveat that one of the characters has to be one I play. I.e. Tohru, Yuuto and Kurt.
- and yes, you can give me another prompt even if you gave me one yesterday.

- I have to do pickins up for Kurt and Yuuto. IT IS COMING. My attention span is only as long as Kurt's short shorts.
