Little Buddies

The other night Grant and I babysat for our friends Rick & Collette while they went to a Cardinals game. Their little boy, Logan, is just a few weeks older than Will, so we keep telling them about what good friends they are going to be. Well, while they were gone we got both of them down for bed and ended up sticking them in the crib together. We were a little worried that if one woke up, he would wake up the other one, however, they did great and slept like that for almost three hours before Rick & Collette got back from the game. We thought they looked pretty cute together!

Memory Lane
I've been told that I need to do more updates on my blog. So I took this from my friend, Kiersten's blog and thought it sounded like a lot of fun.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Habit or Hobby?
Teresa has been pregnant for a while now, and it seems that Grant has begun to develop certain idiosyncrasies that can’t be easily explained. I haven’t been able to determine whether it’s a hobby or a habit.
It began innocently enough. At first money went missing inexplicably from the account. Then for no reason at all, he began to be ill tempered and would fly off the handle for no reason. Teresa didn’t think much of this new attitude as her fatigue forced her to inexplicably fall asleep on the couch.
One evening she was strangely awakened one evening by what she thought was grunt coming from the bedroom. She awoke slowly, groggy from her recent nap. As she approached the bedroom door she noticed that it was closed. Odd, she thought, Grant usually watches television with the door open. As she approached the room she became eerily aware of a deafening silence. She parted the door slowly, not knowing what she would find on the other side. What she saw would change her forever.
She parted the door and found Grant on a chair huddled staring intently over the table. The table contained an open box with odd plastic shapes and many tiny bottles containing several different colors of paints. But even more alarming, Grant had an open bottle of modeling glue lying out on the table. Grant’s hair was spiked in all directions; strange guttural sounds were coming from his throat from shear frustration and intensity of effort. As you may have guessed, he was assembling model cars. Or was he?
The fact that Grant claims to assembling model cars does seem rather a rather convenient explanation to his glue sniffing, and I don’t think you, reader, should buy it. First of all, if he’s assembling model cars, why does his hair need to be so spiky? Second of all, even the model cars he’s assembling seem to be so crazed and disjointed that only a junky would put them together. But the final bit of evidence seems to come from his insatiable insistence that he work on these models nearly every night. Teresa once witnessed him make a mistake painting a model car, then attempt to fix it by immersing the entire model in a acetone. When he awoke the following morning, the model was a puddle of plastic at the bottom of a cup.
Habit or hobby? At this time, it can’t be known. What is certain is that Grant carefully takes these models into his place of work. Places them on a shelf, then meticulously finds ways to draw his co-workers attention to them. Decide for yourself, but don’t do it under the influence of modeling glue.
