Lucy was blessed last Sunday in church, wearing a dress my great-grandmother made and that my mom and I both wore. She was one of four babies blessed; I guess everyone had family in town for the holiday weekend.

Henry enjoyed having family in town for Lucy's birth and blessing. The last of the company has gone home, and I think he'll be sad Monday when he realizes it's just the three of us at home most days from now on. He has been a wonderful big brother to Lucy, giving her kisses and bringing her the lovey from her crib. I think he'll enjoy her even more in a few months when she can respond to him. But already she's watching him whenever he's near.

 

Meet Lucy

She's here! Baby Lucy was born last week, and we are all in love with her. Well, Henry's still getting use to sharing his mama, but he loves having Grandma and aunts in town to play with him.

You may not be able to read what the shirt says, but this is how Clint found out that baby #2 is on its way. Henry's now in his big boy room and big boy bed, and the crib is put away until this summer. We are excited for this little one to join our family in July.
