Grandma and Grandpa Romney

Your mother and I had a wonderful December.
How I love the Christmas Season - Pine Fragrance -
Pop Corn Factory Pop Corn, Christmas Music,
buying a IPod Touch for Grandma. But most
of all - communicating with the family about the
true meaning of Christmas, the Atonement of
our Savior, and asking myself - What did I give
for Christmas? How many times did I share the
Gospel with a non member? Did I share my
testimony of the Savior often?
We really enjoyed the visits from Tiffany, Dave and
Benjamin. It was a real treat to have Reed, Summer,
Dalin and Avery Cakes with us for a few days also.
As we start the new Decade of 2010 and the year 2010
I offer the following quote from Elder Robert D. Hales:
"The plan of the Father is that family love and companionship
will continue into the eternities. Being in a family carries
a great responsibility of caring, loving, lifting, and
strengthening each member of the family so that all can
righteously endure to the end in mortality and dwell together
throughout eternity. It is not enough just to save ourselves.
It is equally important that parents, brothers, and sisters are
saved in our families. It we return home alone to our Heavenly
Father, we will be asked, 'Where is the rest of the Family?'"
Please discuss this quote with your children and share your
testimony of the truthfullness of the Gospel.
I know that God lives, that Jesus Christ is our savior, I know that
the Church of Jesus Christ is the only true and living church on
the earth today. I know that the scriptures and the words of the
living prophets can guide us in the correct paths we should walk
in this life.
I love you all and wish all the best to each of you in 2010.
It is my desire to dwell with you all for eternity in the Celetial
Kingdom and I am doing all I can do to help.
I look forward to your family reunion in June 2010.
Happy New Year!

We had a great Christmas! It was so nice to have our first Christmas home with the kids since being married. On Christmas Eve we made pizzas in the shape of Christmas trees, which was so fun (and yummy!) we just might make it a yearly tradition! Dallin and Avery got lots of stuff from Santa! We had a yummy breakfast with a Wiest tradition of homemade ablaskevers (a Danish pancake-like pastry), cinnamon rolls, bacon and orange juice. All very special foods that we don't eat very often so it was a real treat! The day after Christmas we spent a few days at grandma and grandpa Romney's house. Dallin and Benjamin had a blast! There were a few disputations and tears here and there, but for the most part they had fun...with Avery tagging along behind them! And Avery didn't even fall down the stairs once!

Dallin and Avery spend their days riding the Cars bike Dallin got from Santa and the Wiggle Racer they BOTH got from Santa (which Dallin has to be reminded of daily!)

Hello everyone. So we had a great Christmas Holiday in LAS VEGAS!!! Thank you so much to G&G Romney for letting us come and stay with them. Benjamin loved playing with all their cool toys. He is still talking about the tramp and playing hockey and football in the back yard. Dave has had a few weeks off in between semester and it has been nice to just relax and not have to worry about school. I have something FUN to share......I am going to go back to school this Summer/Fall. UNLV has an entire degree online.....so all of my classes before are still good and will go towards my degree. So I am soooo excited to finally start the journey of finishing my degree. As some of you know we have started the lovely task of POTTY TRAINING! Benjamin is doing good but it will just take time. But we will keep you posted. Have a great month.
