Everyone else is posting thoughts on this ep, so I'm gonna do it too.

This marks Sam's third televised soulfisting. He's going to start getting cryptically worded messages inviting him to "discreet gatherings of like-minded pleasure-seekers" soon. And Cas, I love you dearly, but maybe there wasn't much point in rolling up your sleeve if you weren't gonna take your coat off. Just saying.
I totally called Sam waking up right after the ominous "he may never wake up" moment. Sadly, he was not a flamingo, which comprised the second part of my theory. But on the bright side, he was Sam, which is just as good as a flamingo. Almost, anyway. Like 93% as good.
Why did the dragons take so many virgins if they only needed one? Seriously, that's really bugging me.
It was nice to see Sammy doing some Sammy style research again. And I liked how tricksy he was in finding out what happened to him. You go, resouled Sammy! And if you wanna be a flamingo for a bit, that'd be cool too.

Dean holding that little broken off sword was so fucking cute I almost died. He looked like a little kid who's mom had made him a shitty pirate costume instead of buying the cool Jack Sparrow one at Walmart like all the other kids' moms did and now they're all gonna make fun of him and he hates this family, he just HATES it!
