On SPN 6.14
Sad to say, I didn't really care for this one. It's all good - next week looks set to make up for that and more, I just felt this ep didn't sit right.

First of all, I didn't really believe the whole secret admirer prank. In my experience, after about the 9th grade, shit like this only happens on television. Sure, people still get bullied. But not like this. The work these guys supposedly put into bullying a quiet, unassuming girl who really wouldn't have stood out to them in any way rang false; sure they might have teased her, but going to the trouble to set up the whole mannequin thing? Way more junior high than the adults they were portrayed as. Maybe I just went to a surprisingly tolerant high school, but I really didn't buy it.
Second, WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE KIDNEY??? Why did Rose suddenly give up her vendetta? Did Sam or Dean do something that I missed? Was it the crashing of the car she was possessing? I'm totally unclear on what actually happened.
Finally, Lisa. I really like Lisa, and I'm fond the the relationship she COULD HAVE HAD with Dean. But we only saw glimpses of that relationship in a 45 second montage, and I think I was making a coke-float at the time. It's like we're supposed to feel bad about something we never saw existing ending. I can't care as much as I want to, because the show never took the time to convince me that she and Dean ever had a shot at making each other happy.
That said, I did get a giggle over the impala trying to kill Dean and the moment between Sam and Dean at the end was all kinds of sweet. And have I mentioned next week looks awesome? Cuz it totally does!
