I think I'm gonna live! Plus "The French Mistake"!
Wow... that was HORRIBLE! I try to be all stoic when I'm sick, but flaming poop on a stick that flu sucked. Apparently, some people are more prone to colds and flu when they're preggers, since the hormones affect the immune system, making you less able to fightt hings off and more likely have a hard time with whatever you catch. Made doubly worse by the fact I was too scared to take anything to knock me out in case I ended up created a webbed-toed monster!fetus.
Thank you to everyone who sent "get well soon" wishes. They were MUCH appreciated! I'm still feeling a bit icky, but at least I can breathe again!
I'm gonna try and catch up with the important flisty goings ons, but I should respond to personal emails and comments first, so it may take me a while. Very sorry!
In case anyone's interested, I finally watched SPN 6.15 today! Thoughts are below the cut.
LOLOLOLOL!!! This was a GREAT meta-ep!
Misha is forever "the attractive crying man" in my head, and the fact that he apparently tweeted the things screen-Misha was tweeting AT THE EXACT RIGHT TIME makes me love him even more! Seriously, has there ever been an actor this generous with his time when it comes to interacting with fandom?
Sam and Dean attempting to "act" might be one of the funniest SPN moments of all time! Along with Dean's absolute horror that fake-him had been on a SOAP OPERA!!! Of all things!!!
But the unexpected highlight for me was Gen. How on Earth did she deliver lines like "Well, alpacas are the greenest animals" and "The international otter adoption dinner" without cracking up? I think she's put on a bit of weight since the Ruby-days as well, and it REALLY suits her; she looked fabulously curvy and gorgeous.
I'm just slightly disappointed that it was AU Jensen and Jared we saw, rather than the actor's real lives, but I certainly wouldn't want my real life broadcast to this particular fandom, so I can't really blame them. Also, if they were going to kill Misha and Kripke, they had to go with an AU thing.
Speaking of which, KRIPKE'S DEATH!!!!! Just. SO. Perfect!!!
Even though I loved the whole thing, the last five minutes were SENSATIONAL in a whole different way. Raphael's new vessel is BADASS and I <3 her already. I hope she sticks around and doesn't disintegrate or anything. And Castiel... jeez. I honestly didn't see that coming.
I have to ask... are we meant to be wondering if Cas is the good guy in this particular war? You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who loves the character more than me, but I'm definitely questioning.
Those wings though! So glad to see Cas' wings again!
And Bathy is so growing on me!
