This is the most fantastic thing I've read in such a long time, I just had to share it.
There is an organization known as Bikers Against Child Abuse. They provide support to child abuse victims by letting them know that there is a group of large, strong, scary bikers between them and their abusers, and that their abusers will have to deal with the bikers before ever hurting them again. They don't just tell the kids this either; they will accompany them to court to testify against their abusers, come whenever they are called (24/7) to provide protection or just a feeling of security, even spend all night outside the home of an abused child so that no one can interfere with him or her. They are incredible.

Between these amazing men and women and the Patriot Guard Riders (who stand between the hateful WBC protesters and mourners at the funerals of soldiers) I'm beginning to think bikers are the best people on earth.
