Yeah, so I couldn't watch SPN this week...

I turned it off. I just can't watch dogs in danger, even if they're not meant to be real dogs. It's not the show's fault; I thought it was a really solid episode up until the point when I realized someone in dog form was definitely going to get hurt. It's my issue, dating all the way back to Old Yeller, but I really prefer to keep enjoying my favourite show so I shut it off before I could be traumatised.

I'm even staying away from reviews, in case someone posted a pic of a dead dog or a gif of a dog getting shot.

So, could anyone tell me if I missed anything major? Did Sam get his soul back? Were there any major revelations that will confuse me next week if I don't know about them? Without mentioning doggy pain, can someone just clue me in on what happened?
