A New Baby and Memorial Day

MEMORIAL DAY 2011

We had a lot of fun celebrating today! I got to go swimming

with some girlfriends, plant some flowers for my front porch, and

have an amazing BBQ with my man. On the menu: hawaiian shish-kabobs, fruit salad,

potato salad, and Doritos. Two words- pure heaven.

4 years down, eternity to go!

I can't believe it has already been 4 years since me and the Mr made it official!! On that day I truly did marry my best friend and partner in crime. We have experienced so much together and I would choose no one else to ride life's crazy roller coaster with! The last couple days Richard and I have been reminiscing a lot about that warm spring day in 2007. How the night before the wedding, while I got a pedicure he got his hair cut in the SuperWalmart salon. Risky? Yes. And how after the reception was over, we stopped and got a slurpee at 7eleven on our way to SLC. I have also been having some fun looking over wedding pictures. Gosh we were young. It's funny to think we actually thought we knew each other so well then! :) Here's to eternity of more love and adventures..

I also want to give a shout out to 2 amazing moms who have played such a huge part in our lives. Happy Mother's Day to some pretty incredible women! We love you guys so much. XOXO

We've got campin' fever!!!!

AHHH, is winter over yet??? Me and Richard are dying to get out our camping gear!!! Today I went to REI with my dividend money and a 20% off coupon in hand. I ended up getting a sweet sleeping pad from the brand Thermarest. It's called the prolite plus. I am sooo excited!! Richard had the brightest idea.. why don't we set up camp in our front room?? So that's exactly what we did!!! Can't wait to smell like smoke and eat tin-foil dinners again. Cheers to the outdoors! :)

The Latest and Greatest!!!

2010 has treated us well so far! We had the opportunity to go to the Chicago temple a few weeks ago with some friends. What a great experience. It was small but so beautiful!! I hope to get back soon. Richard has been crazy busy with school and I am just trying to stay occupied with work, applying for school, etc. We are counting down the days until we have warm temperatures and sunshine!! Due to the long winters out her in Wisconsin, it has been a MUST for me to find some new hobbies. I have started to make fabric roses! With the roses, I have made a lot of headbands and just made a broach for my Momma. I knew I had a creative side.. I just had to search for it. :)

Happy 2010!

We hope everybody had an amazing holiday season! Richard and I were able to fly home to Utah to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. We had such a great time with all of our family and friends and are so lucky to have them in our lives! After having such a fun vacation.. We are both back into the grind of things here in Wisconsin. Richard is officially 1/8 done with his medical education! haha, all you can do is laugh when you see a figure like that :) He did great his first semester in school and got honors in all of his classes. I am so proud of him!!! He started his 2nd semester on Monday and is already studying like crazy. Work for me is going well. I am really enjoying the 7 days on, 7 off schedule so far. But believe me, after that 7th day of being on.. I am running out of the hospital at a very fast speed!! I am also keeping busy with going to a local gym. It is so close to home which makes it great for my lazy butt to get moving! I have found a new love.. it's called Zumba. My friend Chelsea and I have been going since September and cannot get enough of it! It's a workout class that includes latin, hip-hop type exercise routines. Everyone just lets loose and has a great time. You need to try it!!! There is not much to do or see here in the winter, so just trying to keep occupied has been kinda tough. Thank goodness for cable TV. :) (thank you Bachelor and Biggest Loser!) I am so excited for summer and to be able to go explore this pretty state. Two of the main things I want to go do is #1 go up north and camp on the shores of Lake Michigian and #2 travel to the countries biggest waterparks in Wisconsin Dells. Pictures to come! Wild'n out in Wisconsin!

So.. Wisconsin isn't as bad as you may think! Atleast in the summer time anyway :) We have been so lucky to have been able to sight-see and to meet people from all over! We have met some great people so far and cant wait to get to know them better. The only down fall of WI that we have seen is that we have yet to find a good mexican restaurant.. What does a girl have to do to get some quality enchiladas??!!! The hunt is on :)

* Sprecher Brewing Co. tour with our new friends Chelsy and Scott. No beer for us.. but plenty of Sprecher soda to go around!

* Fun at the Wisconsin State Fair! We enjoyed deep fried oreos, deep fried cheese curds, a giant cream puff and chocolate covered bacon (not my favorite :)).

* Milwaukee Brewers baseball game at Miller Park
