Yeah, yeah I know...

Camping in the snow?! 

Let me just say it wasn't my idea :)

but I did enjoy myself. 

Tyler and I headed up to Red Fish Lake and we made a short film or our trip. 

It was freezing but surprisingly we stayed warm.

Happy Halloween

This year we didn't have our traditional Halloween Party.

We didn't even dress up! 

Pretty lame huh.

We did have a spiderman around the house though. Isn't he cute :)

Backpacking It Up!

With Tyler and I not having real summers like everyone else for the last seven years, we've been itching to get some outdoor camping done. 

So Tyler had the great idea of going backpacking! 

We packed our bags, lefts the kids with the grandparents, jumped in the car with our friend Cullen and headed up to Loon Lake, Idaho!

It was our first time back packing in the dark,

first time backpacking in the rain,

and our first time back packing ever!
It was a total of thirteen miles

 and I must say I think it turned out pretty well!

We had a blast and I'm sure we'll be doing it a lot more in the future.

(He wants to go in NOVEMBER! Can you say BRRR!!)

As you can see we made a video of it. It was kind of last minute because we weren't planning on it but it was fun making it. Hope you enjoy it and all our pictures! There's A LOT!

p.s. Up at Loon lake there was a Bomber airplane that crashed in 1942 It still remains there. All eight people that were on the plane survived. We hiked up to it and carved our names onto the plane. 

(don't tell any one :)...)

Hold Your Head Up High

We're having a lot of fun with two kids in the house now. 

Sure makes it seem like a family. 

When Ashton's driving me wild, Tyler takes him, I pick up Jake and he cheers me right up.

When Jake is driving me wild I play with Ashton and he cheers me right up.

When they both drive me wild... Tyler cheers me up. 

What happens when all three of them are driving me wild you ask?

You don't wanna know. :)
