County Fair

I took the kiddos to the county fair! I think they had a great time, even though I told them no rides this year (instead we're going camping this weekend) It was still fun to see the animals, hold some snakes and watch some awesome juggling. Trevor had to work, so it was just me and the kiddos. Amazingly enough we all survived and had a great time.Image

Summer 2010 Recap - August

Ok, so I've been a huge slacker in the blogging department. So, I have recapped our entire summer. You'll have to scroll to previous posts to see all about June and July. August was more of our down month. After having a very busy July, we took August kind of easy. There was a lot of time spent playing in the backyard on the slip and slide and on the swings. Trevor spent a lot of time hiking with the scouts to prepare to hike Mt. Adams (a really big Volcano) They didn't make it to the top, but they had a great time :) Also, I spent a morning hiking Manashtash Ridge with a couple of my friends. It was a tough hike, but the view from the top was great!

Bear Lake Trip

While we were in Utah, we also spent a week at Bear Lake. I love going to Bear Lake! We had such a fun time and the kiddos loved playing on the beach, in the water, riding the wave-runners, and swimming in the pool at Ideal Beach.

July Recap

July was a great month. It started out by having Laura and Frankie visit us for a week. We had such a great time!

We also made our annual trip to Utah! It's always so much fun. We always try to pack our trip full of lots of fun things. During our trip we went ice skating, went swimming, attended the North Logan 24th of July celebration. Here are a few pics of our many adventures.

June Recap

During June, we attended our ward camp-out and had a great time. Lorin and Trevor showed off their super strength and climbed the rock wall. (I wanted to try it but was too scared I would pee my pants!) The rest of us enjoyed roasting marshmallows, visiting and playing on the playground.

We also had a fun time enjoying a little carnival at one of the local stores. It was great! They had animals to pet and play with, free food and best of all free face painting!

Lorin's Baptism

Well, I can't believe that I have an 8 year old. Lorin turned 8 on March 19th and was baptized on April 10th. It was such a neat day for her and for us. The baptism went off without a hitch. As I helped her dry off and change her clothes, she was shivering and chattering her teeth, but she was so happy and felt so good. Her confirmation was beautiful. Trevor gave her such a wonderful blessing. Lorin is truly such a special little girl, and I am so grateful to be her mom. It was neat to have some of our family and friends with us to celebrate her special day. Thanks to those of you who traveled so far to spend this day with us
