This Life is a Dream is a high-bit pixel art point-and-click adventure that blurs the line between waking life and ever more becoming lucid dreams. Set in a 1990s alternate reality Salt Lake City, UT you return home after years away in school deciding to spend the summer piecing together a life you barely recognize before committing to an already offered and decent career. Nostalgia lingers like an unfinished sentence, but something is… off.

Every night, you drift into lucid dreams—some serene, others unsettling, all shifting in visual style and logic. Each dream leaves an imprint, bleeding into reality as the world begins to unravel. Strange symbols, lost memories, and fractured timelines guide you toward a truth buried beneath layers of perception.

Explore, investigate, and navigate a surreal journey through post-coming-of-age self-discovery, forgotten places, and eerie synchronicities. Some puzzles are meant to be solved, others must be understood. As dreams and reality collide, will you find meaning—or lose yourself in the neon colored static?
