Battle with JobCenter in Frankfurt: Incredibly annoying and tedious, but ultimately successful. I find it unbelievable how much work it is to break through the shield of crap, regulations and willfully ignoring of laws and court orders to get what is actually your right. All while being treated like something smelly stuck to their shoe.

Still don't have a lease agreement, but I'm hopeful that I will by the end of the week. Please to be crossing fingers, kthx.

Still have to move out of my current flat in two days. Still have to paint most of it. -.-

Sorry about the complete radio silence over the last two months, this moving business turned out to be more complicated and stressful than I anticipated -.-

The jobcenter took their own sweet time to agree to the move (not that they could have stopped me, but it makes things easier and they have to pay part of the moving costs now), only agreeing this week. The flat market in Frankfurt is absolutely horrendous. We found a flat (after seeing about 30 -.-) I'm cautiously hopeful the owner will agree to rent us, but it's not finalized yet (since the jobcenter in Frankfurt has to agree as well and it seems to be filled with unreasonable people) and I have a backup plan for a room if it doesn’t work out. Meanwhile I have to leave my current flat by Thursday and I still have to move out my kitchen and paint the walls...

Don't worry though, I'm utterly exhausted, but I'm dealing surprisingly well with all this!

So, I have been screwed over. I made a fotobook of that trip to the US 15 years ago my parents still talk about. To be fair, it was indeed awesome. I ordered it a full two days before the Christmas deadline on the website. Only to be told LAST NIGHT that they wouldn't be able to send it out in time. The fuckwads. >:O!

I'm trying to make them a video DVD of the trip instead, but I would like to include an animated travel map kind of thing. Trouble is, all the video map creators for windows SUCK. So bad. Hence this question:

Is there anyone here that has access to iMove on a Mac and would be willing to create such things for me tonight?

I maded another painting. This time mounted on a painted wooden board for hanging and contrast.



This was actually commissioned by a friend who wanted something for a wall in her living room. The painting is 50x50cm and the whole thing with the board is 70x70cm.

As I mentioned in the travel post earlier, I could use some cash for my trip to Australia. So if any of you want me to create a painting for you or if you want to maybe buy one of the others I've posted, do speak up.

So I'm going to Australia for a wedding and some fun next January/February. And I could use some traveling advice.

I think I will manage in AU as far as things to do and accommodation is concerned (I just need to find some money somewhere...), but I have no clue about South Korea / Seoul and as you can see, I have a day layover each way. So, anyone know what to do there, things to see, good (cheap!) places to sleep?

I have contracted the death flu from one of the 80 kids at work. I hate everything, but especially children.

A few months ago I took part in a one-evening painting course on Action!Painting. I enjoyed myself very much and went home with this (actual size is 100cm x 70cm):
