ImageLast Sunday we went over to the Stufflebeams for an early Easter dinner, egg hunt and bubbles! Everything was fantastic! Debbie put together 50 eggs and I brought an additional 25 so the girls REALLY had a fun time with the hunt and came away with more eggs than they could dream of. They actually did the hunt 2 times because they loved it so much! Brooklyn was on a hunt to get quantity whereas Kenzie was more for quality. She opened each egg and sampled whatever was in there. Brooklyn filled her little basket 2-3 times and Kenzie just mostly filled it once. It's fun to see their little personalities. Thanks Stufflebeams for a fun afternoon. You are way too good to us. Their son, Scott, also leaves for Alaska tomorrow...good luck Scott. We will miss you!

Happy 21st Britty

ImageMy little sister, Laura, "helping" me with the dress. Actually, she helped me a TON. She pretty much told me what to do then I did it on the sewing machine. There is NO WAY I could have done it without her.

ImageThis is a picture of the cute back of the dress. I loved the back...the pleats were way cute.
ImageBrittney wanted a pig cake...so I made my best attempt. She loves rainbows, stars, and pigs so I tried to implement all of them into the cake.

Brooklyn's cute birthmom turned 21 last week. We had a birthday party with her to help her celebrate. A week before her party I asked her what she wanted. She replied that she wanted a rainbow sundress. So, I attempted my very 1st dress. With the AMAZING help from my sister, Laura, we did it in about 10 hours. I feel like it was really cute and I hope she liked it! She's pretty special to us. We hope your birthday was a good one Brittney! We love ya!

ImageGrandma Hall gave Brooklyn a new bed! I think Tom was just as excited about the bed as Brooklyn was. He set it up within days of getting it. It is a trundle bed and Brooklyn AND Kenzie love it. We were this close to letting them sleep together then we remembered how much we love our own sleep. So, maybe another time. Thanks Grandma! Brooklyn is FINALLY sleeping through the night. We LOVE the new bed!

Olives and Grandmas

ImageGrandma Hall has come and gone, but I still have pictures to post with her in them! The girls (and Tom and I!) really enjoyed having Grandma Hall come to visit. We felt like the visit was too short, but very productive. Come back soon Grandma Hall!

Brooklyn is obsessed with olives. When I ask her what she wants for lunch she usually says, "Owives, Mommy". So, we have Hawaiian Haystacks about once a week because Brooklyn gets her olives and it is Tom's favorite food. Win win! She loves to put them on her fingers then when she eats them all she usually gets a refill. I usually go through 1 can before dinner then 1 can for dinner. Kenzie loves them too, but Brooklyn is fanatical with them.

The last picture has Kenzie in it too. She LOVES those shorts. She wants to wear them everyday. They have fish on them and she thinks that is pretty cool. She actually picks out her clothes for the day. Sometimes it works...:)

Potty training is going well. No accidents yesterday! I hope I'm not jinxing things. #2 is still a struggle. They both bring me a diaper to wear when they need to go #2. Any suggestions from you experienced folks?
