CAMBRIA's COMMENTS

We love Cambria she makes us laugh. Some funny things that she has done and said are.........

" Mom, sometimes words just come out of my mouth and they just don't make sense!" HUMMMM REALY?????

Cambria was excited to show us something outside on the back patio the other day and ran right through the screen door! Nothing was hurt but her pride but now when we open the sliding glass door we make sure to tell her that the screen is pulled. She just smiles and gives us a thumbs up!

We had just arrived at Rob's softball game the other night and I asked Cambria to run to the car and grab a blanket for me. She looked at me and said "I don't know if I can't do that." After further investigation I realized she couldn't remember were the car was that we had left just seconds ago and that we could see from our seats no less. Carson piped in and said "Cambria sometimes your just not smart." Cambria's reply was "Normally, I would argue that but under the circumstances you might be right this time"

Carson, Cambria and I were discussing the day at school and Carson had made a statement about a girl in his class that's "dumb as a stick" Cambria piped up and said "Ya mom she really is. She's like a sack of hammers" Ummm What???? I think it's like dumb as a box of rocks but in Cambria language it's "like sack a hammers!"

Cambria has been participating in her school choir after school this year and they had a performance at Tuachan with other school choirs in the area. It was really quite good. Loralee and kids came to support her and we all were making funny faces trying to make her laugh. We cheered for her when their school came on stage. She told me later that she loves our family even though we are crazy.

Cyrie got a big castle case that has lots of princess dress ups in it from a friend at my work. She loves it as you can see from the look on her face. When she got up and saw it she had to try on every outfit. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and her favorite...Tinker Bell!

"BUT I'M NOT TIRED"

We still are struggling to get Cyrie to go to sleep. She claims that if her bed was all pink then she will sleep in it. For now she wants to sleep in her Strawberry Shortcake "Suitcase"(Sleeping Bag).

HOT LIPS

After we put the kids to bed and tucked Cyrie in her "Suitcase" for the 3rd time, we finally fell into our bed and started watching our nightly episode of Everyone Loves Raymond. Our door started to slowly creep open an inch at a time. Rob said "Who is at my door!" It finally opened enough for us to see our little blonde girl. She stood there with her bottom lip almost to the floor, and in between sniffles said "I can't find my blanky" I replied, "Why? I just tucked you in with it". Her response, with again 1 word to 2 sniffles, "Well, I had to get up to get my lip stick and I lost it!" I asked, "Why did you have to get your lip stick?" Cyrie said, "Cuz my lips were TRAPPED."

HaNd ME the HosEr Eehh

So Cyrie went with me to get the plants and flowers for all our patio pots and she wanted to get some Strawberry plants so she can be like Strawberry Shortcake so we got two. We couldn't leave without getting the pink water wand. It is her job to water the plants every morning and she is extra careful about her strawberries. When she wants to water she asks me to "turn on her hoser." I get a chuckle every morning!

FUNNY PHRASES...

When she is talking to you and you don't respond she says "Can you talk with your mouth?"

The television was on and I wasn't paying much attention to it when Cyrie comes running into the kitchen and says , "Mom, they guys on the TV were talking to you!" "They said, don't get MAD getGLAD!"

She says, with lots of ATTITUDE.... "Oh Snap! then sings "Pop goes the weesel!" ( I think that is from the movie Mall Cop)

Cyrie will sit with the kids at the kitchen table and do "homework". Her "homework consists of coloring books. You can hear her say "This doesn't make any sense!" I think she has heard Cambria say that a time or two.

She likes to play games on the computer and when it is slow loading she will say "Mom this is taking a long time ago!"

CYRIE's FAVORITES!

First and formost.... Wendy's Chicken Nuggets with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Fries and Chocolate Milk.

She loves Music and knows every song on the radio. Her favorites are Taylor Swift, Blackeyed Peas, Lady Gagga, Beyonce, and anything that has a good beat.

Her favorite movies right now are, This is It- Micheal Jackson Movie. She will watch it over and over and try to dance like him. Others include, Princess and the Frog, High School Musical, Alice in Wonderland, Open Season and Alvin and the Chimpmunks.

Favorite books, Are you my mother?, The Foot Book, both from Dr. Suess. Also, I love you this much, and anything else that she can make me read to extend her bedtime.

Cyrie is super sweet and is always complimentary you can always hear her say she likes your hair or your shoes or your shirt.

She loves to drive with you and will drive crazy like her dad! She swirves and says "Bunny Rabbit!" This stems from when she rides with her dad in the golf cart. He will swirve and yell Bunny Rabbit! She laughs and thinks it is so funny.

She does it in the car, in the golf cart or on the wiggle racer!

SHE HAD SO MANY CHILDREN, SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.....

CYRIE ALL READY TO RIDE HER BIKE. SHE HAS A DORA HELMET AND DORA KNEE PADS. THE BARBIE GLASSES ARE ENTIRELY JUST FOR LOOKS!

SHE RIDES DOWN OUR DRIVEWAY AND ON THE SIDEWALK TO THE NEIGHBORS AND TURNS AROUND IN THEIR DRIVEWAY AND BACK TO OUR HOUSE.

THE NEIGHBORS DRIVEWAY IS KIND OF UP HILL SO SHE SAYS " IT'S KINDA TRICKY" SHE ALSO LIKES TO SAY "YOU GO DOWN THE HILL ,THEN UP THE WATERY MOUNTAIN". APPARENTLY, "THAT'S WHAT DORA DO'S"

Just a little b-ball between friends

Carson had a pretty good season of Basket Ball.

He made the winning shot in one game at the buzzer, made a few three pointers and he can show boat like Deron Williams!

He may not make all his shots but dang he looks good missing!

SISTER SET SHOT!

This was Cambria's first year of playing basket ball.
In fact, it's her first year playing any sport at all!
She begged me to let her play
and I crumbled under the pressure.



Cambria was the most improved player.
She went from shooting it into the opposing teams basket the
first game, to learning how to set a screen and shoot from the corner post
in the last games.
She has a pretty good set shot from the post and her free throws are on the money!
Congratulations Cambria!
Oh and she finally got a trophy she couldn't wait for that!

I have to give a shout out to Coach Hershy!
While I am on the side lines yelling, "WRONG BASKET CAMBRIA!"
He is clapping and saying "Good rebound Cambria!"
He's a very patient and positive man, we were glad to have him as our coach.

A couple of the things that Cyrie says lately:

She always says she needs 29 bucks for things. "Mom, I need 29 bucks!"

She also talks about her boyfriend Trey and her girlfriend Dazy and Lacy.

Don't know where they came from but they are involved in everything in her life.

Her girlfriend did that, or goes there, or has that, you name it one of her girlfriends has done it or it's her girlfriends favorite.

When asked where her shoes are- "They are at my boyfriends house."

"Where is your boyfriends house?"

"By Lances , do you want to go there?"
