VOTING 2026

What are the most popular digital tools for learning and why?

The 20th Annual & Final Survey is now open to generate the
TOP 100 TOOLS FOR LEARNING 2026 list

CLOSING DATE
Voting will close at noon (BST) on Friday 28 August 2026
Results will be available at 9 am (BST) on Tuesday 1 September 2026

How to vote

  1. All you have to do is to name ten DIGITAL tools – they can be platforms, applications, resources, networks or other online services but not devices. (Although you might love paper, pens, books, etc, this is not the place to vote for them –  so they won’t be included.)
  2. The reason we require TEN tools is to mitigate gaming and skewing of the voting, so any entry that does not include 10 different tools will be excluded
  3. The TEN tools can be listed in any order.
  4. The tools should be specific named tools rather than generic technologies, e.g. “WordPress” rather than just “Blogging”
  5. Although it is not obligatory, please add a sentence or two about why you like each tool – this helps to provide much-needed context.

Voting notes:

  • A vote for Microsoft Office of Office365 will be split over Word and PowerPoint, so please vote individually for these Office tools, i.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • A vote for Google will be a vote for Google Search, so if you want to vote for other Google tools, you will need to name them individually, e.g. Google Docs & Drive, Google Scholar, Google Maps, etc

You can vote by using the form below or emailing your 10 tools to Jane.hart@c4lpt.co.uk.
