  4. Whelp, answered my own question. To future warriors: 6480.exportHeightMap("terrain_heightmap.png"); 6480 is the ObjectID: It should then save in the main directory where game.exe resides.
  5. This is regardign TGEA. I know we can export it from the terrain editor, but I'd prefer the grayscale version if possible. I know there's a command for it because I used it yeas ago, but have since forgotten it. Thanks.

For the AI models project, using setOrbitObject on client model player makes a sense of visual aim (3rd person perspective with the appropiate model animations) without changing model's frontal aim (like those AIPlayer with objective aim). For no shooting purpose but thinking on tracking any possible objective to aim and then confront it. And then, these mechanics using setOrbitObject with AIPlayer in mind as the player's model could be a perfect Tank with it's turret as an aimming head shooting at different direction. (No screenshot attached; no animation for model's head yet...)

  17. I use almost everywhere dae so i can make almost everything drivable in seconds just with a text editor, but i guess i could do it by script too. Is that just a single model? How many polys have those models, they look plain amazing. I havent gotten around doing lod, dunno if you did but those must use up lots of gpu power. As for the aircraft datablock its on my other box away about 1200km and i dunno when i get there, but i be sure to send them when i get there. That must be some collection of assets you have by now, must be some wild scenarios going on, my library of assets is ok but it doesnt seem nowhere as sizable and highly detailed as yours.
  18. Its funny duion you wrote the day after i check your website since i havent heard in a while from you. I thought of doing this myself actually, but now that you mention it whats in it for me Its not a hard task but not easy task either i guess for such a big project. Did it before tho from 4 prev 5 whatever to 4.0.1 which changed a lot the former was more like 3.9, dunno what ubergame engine even uses. Im away from my main dev box and the now secondary one got a case of the broken cpu cooler so no deving for me for the time being It would be a good start i guess to break it up in packages and assemble in bits by bits, since i got most of the core functionality working i could use those too if need be. Assets mostly just need to be declared, there is a autoimport function but last i tried it croacked on me so care needs to be taken. Also have some of duion assets already integrated into my terapack packages, theres a good selection of european wild plants and other outdoor props like rocks. Anyhow il see about seeing what can be salvaged from ubergame for 4.0.5 when i get a chance.

Hi , nice to see you . this original file is obj . the first pic is the obj in Blender 2.83 lts . ."Hyrule Circuit" (https://skfb.ly/6t6Nu) by Toxicsquall is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). nothing but add a detail level suffy to the objects . and i even forgot a detail node . but ol' torque deals that a AWFUL HAND ! so the moral is i did basically nothing to this . just import it as is . theres no collision as of yet also . imported to t3d.4.01 thank you . I think it is a racing track .
  21. Never payed attention to that, good thing you point it out i would have thought the screen is broken. Joking aside i have textures ready i can use for those i just have to tidy them up. The tiberian sun structures i only show so you can see how to might look in the game, when i get some time i make datablocks for the units too, but using placeholder geometries. The more pressing stuff is the things you dont see like colvols and the vehicle turrets, the turretless ones need work too. Plus a bunch of ai related adjustments and interface fixes so it can actually be played like a mulitplayer game. I also wanna squeeze in some extra stuff like random crates and a baseless mode. Mostly all the stuff is boderline functional as in you can buy stuff, control it, drive etc and if i figure out how to do it give orders to npc infantry. You can already switch between multiple control objects and actually swap between player purchased objects, the ai turrets on vehicles with mouse control make it so vehicles are useful too even without a player controlling it. Currently i have a lot of work on other stuff to do but im thinking i can make a release sometime q1 next year.
  22. That only happens if the codebase has optimization flags turned on. That's not the case by default.

Code_Man , Im on your side besides the texturing and photo realistic textures it produces cant make it worth my time trying to touch up meshes besides being made fun of . and get this AI is in my game protrtype and even here its basically a booger man type of character I have named Anti-Informer WIP who is nuttin but a rotten A** LIAR !.

Id like to see that , I think a basically good hacker can handle it . and Sir Duion , nice to see you again , and without kickin too deep in the technicals what might you consider would be a possible problem encountered in porting to 4.0 , Mighty Sir ? i have a little spare time and if i kinda kno what i am lookin for ypu know ?.

Code_Man - it's great to see you again - you are the man . about the "imackerwate arderyfax" found within the paint job on the AI generated iron eegle of Borneo i have dubbed this latest creation - "the tank like Jesus on toest" , for obvious reasons . please enjoy .. TY Code_Man - they are or should be very soon drive-able as creating the wheeled vehicle objo's is so NP , ya kno' . and Id really appreciate the flying vehicle datablock really . truly , i haven't seen many dae's at my current sweet spot "sketchfab" but i have seen many FBX's , might you care to try those ? and tell us how it went ? btw , I think all of your tiberian Sun and CnC stuff is looking great . I'd like to know how your gamer friends are responding to it . TY
