Our Mission
We provide a small group personal training service to our clients with a unique approach to both training and lifestyle support. Many years ago I saw a gap in the typical “Big Gym” model, which lacked individual support.
People don’t want to go to the gym. It’s not an enjoyable experience, at least not for most people. It’s boring and most gyms offer the same type of training and classes.
The best thing about our sessions is the community and the banter. Period. People show up primarily because of others. Yes, we do train hard and we keep pushing our clients but they’re also human beings with challenges, commitments, and life outside of the gym.
If you’re ready to take the leap to become strong, healthy and resilient then our 6 weeks program or 1 to 1 sessions are for you. Click ‘Start Here’
Our Team
Greg Perlaki
My name is Greg Perlaki, originally from Hungary, I have been living in the UK for 11 years. I am a personal trainer and a gym owner with 10 years of experience. I started my practice in Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, nowadays I run my own fitness studio in Cookham Dean.
I love coaching and connecting with others. My superpower is bringing people together and helping them to improve their lives through fitness, coaching and education. I keep my standards high and challenge both myself and clients to achieve better each day. One of my mottos is: “Your best becomes your new baseline”.
I have helped hundreds of people to get stronger, move more efficiently, lose weight and improve their quality of life. Some of my proudest achievements as a coach, when someone comes to me and they’re in pain and have no hope, yet we’re able to get the client strong, healthy and happy. Everything I do is to promote long term health and fitness.

Chris Ashford
My journey to becoming a personal trainer started a long time ago, when, as an overweight dad of two, struggling to run 3 miles I decided I needed to do something about it. I went in at the deep end and entered a race called the Marathon De Sables, (150 miles over 6 days through the Sahara Desert) after three years of training I managed to complete it. This inspired me to carry on and take on many more sporting adventures.
In 2017 I managed to break my neck coming off my mountain bike, after many months of rehab through functional, strength and mobility training I was back on the bike. The rehabilitation training led me to want to become a PT.
I have loved doing this, I love taking people through their own journey, helping them to achieve their own fitness goals. It is amazing to see clients form habits that allow them to be fitter, stronger and happier.
Steph Foulds
I’m Steph, Training Unity’s Virtual Assistant, helping out with all the admin to ensure our clients get the best customer experience. From social media and website updates, to ensuring new clients are fully onboarded and the automations are running as they should, I take care of the little details so that Greg can focus on what really matters — helping clients achieve their goals.
I’ve spent years helping corporate teams and C-suite execs get through the admin, and even more time organising classrooms full of children. My passion for helping others drove me to support local businesses who just need that little extra hand, and I love being able to help make the Training Unity experience seamless and stress-free for everyone.
