CHARACTER NAME: John Francis Xavier McIntyre. AKA: Trapper
SERIES: M*A*S*H Trapper John
CANON POINT: Right after boarding the plane to go home sooooo post season 4
AGE: 30
APPEARANCE: Class Clown
PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY: NO THANKS.
PERSONALITY: FUQ DA POLEECE ;; This about sums up how he views authority. The only ones whos opinion he will respect who is higher up than him? Probably his wife, and whenever he is legitimately seriously, Henry Blake. Everyone else? Goooood luck...
Prankster ;; He loves it especially on people he doesn't like. Frank Burns, for example, got the biggest pranks he and Hawkeye Pierce came up with. Him and Margaret Houlihan. From there, you get that he has the humour to go along with it. He can quickly jump in on jokes, and he's kind of one of those 'witty one liner endings' types of guys.
Best Friend: Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce ;; ANYONE WHO WATCHED THIS SHOW KNOWS THIS IS BRILLIANT. They had such a bromance on the show, their chemistry matching so well with each other. When something was wrong with one, they would usually know right off the bat and at least attempt to help. Granted, probably in not the best of ways, but the thought was what mattered. The two of them were always fantastic with moral, when it really came down to it. Again, anyone who knows Hawkeye, that first line could be summed in the analysis as nuff said.
Family Man ;; Granted, he might not seem it, what with fraternizing with the nurses on camp all the time while he has a girl and kid at home waiting for him, whenever he did mention them in the show, it was vague enough to where he probably didn't want to think of them all that often. There are a few instances though where it truly did show through. For example, the episode where the camp treated a young Korean boy, he was immediately wanting to adopt him and send him to the states and he was heartbroken when his mother showed up.
Homesick ;; Needless to say the instant he got his letter he was excited. Especially after hearing at one point he got to the point of homesick where he got drunk and no one was able to talk him down from it. The war had that kind of an effect on him, after all, and it did absolutely suck for him.
Goodbye messages ;; A kiss. To Margaret, he had kissed her just full on the lips as MANY of the departing, even for a short time, doctors have done, and he even left a message for Hawkeye when he was sent home, unable to see his best friend. Radar was the one to deliver it, and likely with far less meaning than was meant by a kiss to the cheek.
ABILITIES: He's an incredibly capable surgeon and prankster.
POSSESSIONS: Duffel bag of stolen little trinkets, the clothes on his back, a set of army fatigues, some letters he hadn't gotten to send home or just didn't and wanted to show his wife anyway, and the trinkets he stole: Some are able to be made into a still. Others are like placebo pills, three scalpels, two clamps, cotton balls and then just to cause campwide mayhem, pair of Margarets underwear. Also an extra hawaiian shirt and a nice kimono-styled robe from Tokyo.

JOURNAL ENTRY SAMPLE: ACCIDENTAL AUDIO ;;
... heck is this thing? Radio a' some kind? [And one can hear the phone being tossed hand to hand] Huh. [Realizes it's on] This thing on th-- [And there is actual swearing from a M*A*S*H character because he's gonna start running because of a monster that spotted him, make it to the wall, of course, barely inside and take some deep breathes]
Alright what was that?! Looked like some weird parasite thing! [Partly to himself, partly to phone people and now he's gonna be quiet again] If this ain't doin' nothin' I'm gonna feel pretty ridiculous about this... [Sighs]
This is Captain John McIntyre of the M*A*S*H unit 4077th. Anyone out there? Hawk? Radar, maybe?
