Paul Diaz
Owner
Paul has been the owner of Tree Sound and a pillar of the Atlanta recording community for over 35 years.

Jason Steele
Studio Manager
Jason is an accomplished composer, producer, musician and engineer. Through his 20 plus year career in Los Angles he worked as Executive Producer at Universal Production Music producing over 70 albums and now co-owns a label under Warner Chappell Publishing. Prior to that Mr. Steele was head composer at HUM Music and staff composer at Elias Arts. He was brought into Tree Sound to help facilitate the best studio experience for each client.

Sir Charles
Management/A&R
Grammy nominated songwriter/ producer Sir Charles, (New Jersey) hailing multiple RIAA certifications helping bridge the gap with his musical expertise and industry experience. Since his time in Atlanta, Sir Charles has placed records with Cardi B, Chris Brown, SZA, Summer Walker, BabyTate, Vedo etc. Dedicated to pushing the Tree Sound Culture forward while maintaining pristine professionalism and leadership.

Kevin Pergantis
Senior Engineer
Kevin is a Grammy-nominated audio engineer, specializing in orchestral and big band recordings. He received his training from Oscar-winning engineers Dan Wallin and Michael Aarvold. Kevin has worked in top-tier studios, including Warner Brothers, Capitol Studios, Silent Zoo, Ocean Way Nashville, and Tree Sound. With a roster of clients such as Coldplay, Nami Melumad, Andrea Datzman, CimaFunk, Michael Giacchino, Junkie XL, Gordon’s Big Fat Band, Steve Spiegl Big Band, the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra, Disney, Gray Television, John Tesh, Joe Gransden, BJ Wilbanks, Renaissance Orchestra, Jet Black Roses, and many more from Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Terence Elam
Senior Engineer
Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Terence Elam, a Bedford Heights, Ohio native and Berklee College of Music graduate, began his engineering journey in 2013 after earning an associate degree in Recording Arts Technology from Cuyahoga Community College. Shortly after, he launched his own home studio, where he engineered countless sessions over the course of five years. Eager to expand his knowledge and skills, Terence was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Music for Electronic Production and Design. Since then, he has continued to refine his craft at Tree Sound Studios in Norcross, GA. Terence has engineered for notable artists including Missy Elliott, Mario, Ne-Yo, GloRilla, Leon Thomas, Ari Lennox, Ab-Soul, Keyon Harrold, LaKeith Stanfield, Dreamville, Organized Noize, and more. In addition to his extensive engineering experience, Terence is also recognized for his work as a producer, recording, and mix engineer.

Andrew Robertson
Engineer
Andrew is a platinum recording, mixing, and editing engineer who has worked on hit records across multiple genres for the past 15 years. He is able to deliver exceptional results quickly and makes it easy for you to reach your greatest creative potential. This Berklee College of Music graduate is not only technically savvy, but is also a classically trained pianist and has been playing and performing his whole life. He can tune your vocals, tighten up your performances, and find subtle nuances in the pocket to make sure your music is at its absolute best. DJ Burn One
Engineer
Burn One has been a legendary figure in the Atlanta Rap scene for over 20 years. Starting as a mixtape DJ in high school, he recorded and executive produced Gucci Mane’s first mixtape Chicken Talk in 2006. After tour DJing and A&Ring for Bubba Sparxxx and his label New South Burn One started producing for artists such as A$AP Rocky, Freddie Gibbs, Nicki Minaj and later on Don Toliver, Rich The Kid, Sleepy Brown and more. In the past 10 years Burn One has Mixed and Mastered for David Banner, Trouble, Fana Hues, Mereba, ScottyATL, Kenny Muney, Mamii and more. He currently provides curriculum for his class at the University of Illinois (Music Monetization 499), is a guest lecturer at Kennesaw State University’s Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business Program and is a member on the Governor’s Task Force for Sound Economy in Georgia.

Erik Pedersen
Engineer
Erik is a multifaceted musician, producer, and engineer whose work bridges creativity and technical mastery. Since joining the renowned Tree Sound Studios in 2021, he has earned a GRAMMY nomination, Billboard #1, and collaborated with a wide spectrum of artists across genres. Selected recording credits include DaBaby, Leon Thomas, Trippie Redd, Dave, Nardo Wick, Elvis Crespo, and Dreamville Records, while his mixing credits feature Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Omah Lay, Jacquees, Offset, and Elley Duhé, among others. Erik is also Dolby Atmos certified, expanding his expertise into immersive audio formats. Immersive mixing credits include PinkPantheress, Zara Larsson, Anitta, Kylie Minogue, and Ravyn Lenae, among others. He holds a B.A. from Florida State University and an M.M. from Southern Utah University. In addition to his studio work, he shares his knowledge as a Professor of Audio Production at American InterContinental University, helping the next generation of creators develop their craft

Nile "Stodgy" Brodie
Engineer
Stødgy graduated from Kennesaw State University majoring in Media and Entertainment with a minor in Music and Business. There he studied audio production in a program recognized by Billboard Magazine as one of the top Music Business programs in the world. He began working at Tree Sound Studios in 2021.

Bryan "Primo" Ruvalcaba
Engineer
Primo interned at Tree Sound in 2019 where he gained experience working with clients like of YSL, Lil Baby, Brockhampton, ASAP Rocky, Drake, Wondagurl, & etc. After the pandemic, Primo became an engineer recording for James Blake, Destroy Lonely, Kyle, CEO Trayle, Kalan.Frfr, & many more. In his spare time he enjoys making beats or piano covers.

Walter "Tins" Tinsley
Engineer
Tins graduated from the Conservatory of the Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in 2022. Upon graduation he moved to Atlanta and started his internship at Tree Sound Studios where he was eventually promoted to engineer. Tins has toured with Wale, Chase Shekur, and JID. His recording credits include, Wale, YTB FATT, BOSSMAN DLOW, No Cap, YFN Lucci, Baby Kia, Finesse2tymes, SWAVAY, & more. In his off time Tins is apart of a competitive ultimate frisbee team.

Glenn Zekser
Engineer
Specializing in both recording and mastering, Glenn uses his broad experience to capture and put finishing touches on world-class sound. With the years he spent as a performer, getting his degree at Georgia State for Music Composition, and working as an engineer, Glenn has gained perspective on each step of the creative process. Clients he’s either recorded or done mastering for include Nike, Fox, Assembly Studios, Story Score, thisisbiggz, BOYdPOD, Lucy Bright, CHXNDLER, Bad Guru, West Byrd, Cam Norton, Mostly Strangers, The Midsummer Motel, Cam Christian, Beauregard Higgins, Gus Glasser, Fooshee’s Forecast, Collective Karma, and much more!

Joseph Price
Engineer
Joseph started out in live sound doing everything from local Atlanta venues to large corporate productions. He brings the resourcefulness and decisiveness from his live experience and has combined it with the technical approach, gained from his mentorship, that the studio requires. He received his Audio Production Certificate from one of Billboards top rated music business schools and has worked on everything from solo audiobooks to large scoring sessions. His main line of work, however, is centered around local Atlanta indie bands as well as just bands in general.

Daniel “DJ” Jefferson
Engineer
DJ is a versatile and multifaceted producer, engineer, and musician. He graduated from AIMM (Atlanta Institute of Music and Media) where he obtained a degree in Music and Technology, with a focus on Drumming and Production. Upon graduating he began working at TreeSound, where he was able to work through a variety of sessions and clients. Including; Good Neighbours, Mayday Parade, Leon Thomas, Renaissance Orchestra, Ayo & Teo, Cash Cobain, Love & HipHop, Tony Succar, and countless more. Anyone from independent artists to label clients, DJ aims to bring versatility and the best sound through his hard work!

KUDA is a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional audio engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music, the best globally recognized contemporary arts school. With over four years of hands-on studio experience he has built a strong reputation working with high-profile artists and industry leaders including Trippie Redd, Quavo, Pi’erre Bourne, Lil Wayne, Cardi B, J. Cole, Dreamville, Fabulous, Bossman Dlow, DJ Spinz, and more. Additionally, he has collaborated with major labels such as Columbia Records, Interscope Records, Alamo Records, Sony Publishing, and Quality Control. Kuda’s expertise spans both analog and digital recording systems, session management, equipment maintenance, and post-production workflows. His background in studio operations and technical troubleshooting allows him to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.Known for his clear communication, professionalism, and collaborative approach, Kuda consistently creates seamless recording experiences that allow artists and producers to focus on creativity. With a deep passion for audio technology and a commitment to technical excellence, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality sound and fostering productive, inspiring studio sessions.

Eli Williams
Engineer
Eli is a dynamic producer and recording/mixing engineer with a sharp ear for detail and a passion for crafting unforgettable records. After earning his degree from the University of New Haven in 2023, he moved to Atlanta to further hone his artistry at the legendary Tree Sound Studios. Since joining Tree Sound, Eli has worked alongside a wide range of established and rising artists, including Chuckyy, Polo G, Jacquees, Bryan-Michael Cox, Offset, Raq Baby, Russ, TK Kravitz, Parker McKenna, and many more. With each session, Eli continues to expand his versatility, blending technical expertise with creative vision to bring artists’ sounds to life.

Ro
Engineer
Ro is an audio engineer who graduated from The Recording Arts Center in San Diego, California. He’s had the chance to work with artists, songwriters, producers, and streamers; helping them bring their ideas to life. Whether it’s running a recording session or assisting one, Ro’s main focus is making sure every project feels natural, creative, and true to the artist’s vision. He has engineered and assisted sessions for Lil Wayne, Cardi B, ATL Jacob, Trippie Redd, Southside, Bossman DLOW, Skrilla, Troy Taylor and many more. Ro believes everything can be built upon no matter where you are in life. He promotes this with the motto “Build Up and Be You!”, as a reminder to keep trying and stay true to who you are.

Grammy Awarded Recording & Live Sound EngineerHailing from New Orleans and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Nicole “Cole” Anderson is a Grammy Award-winning recording and live sound engineer, songwriter, drummer, and vocalist. Known for her musical intuition and technical precision, she brings a rich, artist-centered perspective to every session.Nicole earned her first Grammy Award in 2022 for her engineering work on Ranky Tanky’s Best Regional Roots Album. Since then, she’s contributed to sessions involving artists such as Lil Nas X, Teyana Taylor, Dreamville, Rich Homie Quan, and productions like Love & Hip Hop. Her work also includes podcast and live-streaming for viral personalities like Wall Street Trappa and the 85 South comedy crew.

James Sohn
Engineer
Originally from Shreveport, LA, James Sohn is a Korean-American recording engineer, mix engineer, and vocal producer. In 2023, James graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production and Engineering and dual specializations in Audio Post-Production and Commercial Record Production. Several months after graduation, James moved to Atlanta, GA, and secured his internship at the highly-acclaimed Tree Sound Studios in 2024, where he solidified his craft and eventually became part of their staff as an engineer. In his spare time, James likes to record vocal covers and posts them on his YouTube channel to expand his knowledge and skills in vocal production. Outside of the studio, James is an advocate for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) representation and contributions in the music industry. James thrives on creating safe and comfortable spaces and opportunities for artists, especially when working with them in the studio.

Tyler Henschel
Engineer
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler has been deeply connected to the local music scene from the start. He earned a degree in Media & Entertainment from Kennesaw State University, complemented by a minor in the prestigious Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business Program—recognized by Billboard magazine as one of the top music business programs in the world. Tyler began engineering sessions in 2018 and joined Tree Sound Studios in 2023, where he continues to refine his craft. With a sharp ear for current trends and a meticulous work ethic, he is dedicated to helping artists shape their sound to perfection. His engineering credits include Louis Brodinski, 95Reddo, Slime Sito, Lil Candy Paint, Lil Xelly, Trapstarmula, and more. He has also worked alongside notable artists such as Homixide Gang, Ken Carson, Bossman D Low, Lil Gnar, Latto, and others.
