papa and gigi picked up max to spend the day with them leaving me to spend the day with the lady. as max enjoyed picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, baking and doing crafts, kate and i enjoyed our girl time!
we spent the day laughing and giggling, dressing up and dancing...some genuine girl time!! after we ran out of things to do kate decided that she wanted to go for a walk. she put in her red shoes then dug through my closet in search of red shoes for me...and she found some!
our walk was quite the adventure! i was really confused when i was looking through the pictures after we got home. i didn't even realize that i had captured kate's reaction to the surprise we found on our walk.
yep, that's right...a snake. it's hard to see in the picture but the tiny little thing was super fiesty and was trying to bite my foot! good thing kate warned me before i took another step closer to him!
i seriously LOVED every second that i had with this little lady today! although we don't get to do this very often we enjoyed it while it lasted.
