Aside from some built in transitions and CSS variables, this is a blank template to build your own menu content. To showcase what you can do with it, I've also made a customized preview.
This is made possible with :focus-within, which lets us select a parent element based on the (focused) state of its children, similar to :has(). Using :has(:focus) could have accomplished something like this, but this selector is specialized for this purpose.
Let me know if there's anything I should add!
Getting a feel for interest in the topic, but since using js in custom pages is not as easy as it used to be (for pretty decent reasons), would anyone be interested in some tutorials for how to do common scripting things with just HTML and CSS?
If there's anything specific you'd like to know how to do/see CSS only equivalents for, please add some replies! I already have a few ideas (popups, sliding menus, etc) I'm also open to tutorials for no jquery versions as well

Hey! It's been a while since I've updated here, and honestly this whole thing was in need of a major overhaul. I've completely rewritten findtags and am ready for it to be tested! It has basically everything the previous React version had and some new features.
For now, the old react version is still available at the old url, but you can try out the update here!

The original theme garden theme is several years old and was in need of a refresh. While the design is very similar, there are several changes to the theme options. I didn't want anyone to lose their settings, so this is a completely new version and not an update to the original.
This is much simpler to customize overall, so let me know if I should add some more of the older features into this one!
What's new to this version:
This is a project I've been writing and rewriting on and off for a while now. After starting over completely from scratch last weekend, I think I've gotten far enough to share it.

Beryl is a grid-based page that neatly displays your collection — of fics, books, movies, muses, portfolio works, or anything you'd like to show the world. Sticky section titles and graphics remain in view so you never lose track of your progress.
