What is he doing ?

 He is drinking the rain water from the roof. The first dirty water from

the light rain. Inside the home he has filtered water in

very nice bowls, one with Ice only. Then he drinks the dirty water !

 Late storm clouds from Thursday.

Daughter made Christmas dinner of a  Salmon Hot Pot. Mochi and kimchee on the side.

 Daughter picked some Tangelows from the tree and made some candied peel.

 Janet from  MacQue sent me this fabulous mug of Winston and Agatha !

I used it Christmas morning instead of my Totoro cup !

That is earth shattering.
I always use my Totoro cup on Christmas morning.

 Lynn from Bad Dog Ranch, Pets and other Critters sent cookies to the gang.

I love this comix ! I know it can be taken two ways but I like the one where 

the chair is left out an adorable pooch was walking down the street and 

thought what a great place for a nap. I would take the chair and the dog !

It is the 10 Day of an Arizona Christmas.

I have made small pins.

 My best plans have been destroyed and all the card did not get mailed plus a few were returned

lost addresses and wrong zip codes.

Some people will be getting Christmas Cards very late.

gots a fishy

Thank you everyone who wrote such nice comments about Truffles.
Right now she is doing fine.

Daughter has taken such good care of Truffles for all these years
since she saved her,  Got her through all the hard times.
Now she is letting Truffles live with me because it is the best for her now.
I can watch her all day and keep track of her and possible seizures.
It is very hard for Daughter to not see her everyday but visits her all the time.

Now to another rescue who has taken over our hearts.

Miss Pretty, Truffles

As always here is your pretty for midweek

Japanese Son has been playing Santa off and on for many years.

He was first a Mall Santa because he speaks English and Japanese.

They loved him.

 At University he was Santa to the younger students at the kindergarten.

He is a very cute Santa.

One of those days, weeks and months !

So late with everything this year, cards, tree and packages,

no decorations and a messy home.

I have made peace with what gets done this year is what gets done.

And then. . .

Truffles has cancer and needs an operation that we will not OK. She is very old, 

has back and leg problems and the oncologist wants to remove her front leg. 

That is not even the problem, she is having seizures. They had tapered off and I thought

her meds were working. Then Friday night, Saturday morning she had a major seizure. 

I thought we had lost her. Shallow breathing and unresponsive.  I was worried.

Agatha kept sniffing her face and laid her head on her chest. We couldn't keep her away. 

she was like glue.

Adam, Agatha, Winston and I sat with her all night till about 4am.  I fell asleep.

Truffles woke at 8am and ate a small breakfast and so far is relatively fine.

I will mail very late Christmas Cards Monday, and get a Christmas tree.

This has been a very interesting November and December. I seem to jump from

one disaster to another. But my small little family is here and we will be fine.

I love these gud dugs !

Mia  (middle) was dressed as Kiki Delivery Service and so was the girl next to her.
You can see Jiji the talking cat on the friends shoulder. Mia carried Jiji in the little
wicker cage that you can't see.
Mia and family were there because of David's work with the International Exchange Group.
