Hi my name is John Maillet and I have an interest in typewriters which prompted me to create this blog to share my experiences with you.

My first typewriter was a Singer T-70 Professional Series model from I believe 1966.  The Singer T-series typewriters were actually manufactured by Royal Typewriters in the mid 1960’s and identical to their Safari series.  I’ve since added another half dozen typers and counting.

I’m retired and living between Calgary, Alberta Canada and Philippines.
