The fun in April 2010

Another baptism, to another niece. Congrats Kaleigh Curtis!

This month our nephew Ty got blessed. It was a beautiful day!

Tyson and I got to go see Alice in Wonderland in 3D at the gateway. We thought it was a fun show to watch in 3D.

After the movie we joined with our friends to eat at Tuscano's. YUM that place is good!

Can you guess what we were about to go do? Our friends parents own the fun park. So after hours they turn off all the lights and let us play lazor tag. Little did they know we were very prepared to play and defiantly brought our A game!

This March was a fun month!

We started off the month by going to our neice Taygan's baptism. She looked beautiful!


March is also the month of our anniversary. March 8th is our very special day! This year was our two year anniversary. We started out our day by visiting our friends Dane and Natalie who had their baby the day before. They had a boy and named him Nixon Dane Allen. He is so cute! We feel bad we did not get any pictures. After the hospital, we headed down to the Cheesecake Factory. It was divine! This is my cute husband! I sure do love him!!!


We ended our dinner with a very yummy slice of cheesecake!


Tyson got me these beautiful roses!!!


We went and walked around the gateway mall for awhile then went to Nelson's frozen custard. I would highly recommend that place to anyone!!

We then went to Boondocks to play miniture golf. Tyson is so good, he always gets a couple of holes in one's! This is his first one of the game


This is the last hole in the course.


We are looking forward to another year to our eternity together. Love you babe!


Also in the month of March we had a new nephew born. This is Ty Russell Norton.


Congrats to Jeff, Shauna and Kason Norton to your beautiful new addition to your family!

More updating....

So I was looking at all my pictures from where I stop my last blog to now. There is a lot! I am going to rewind and post a couple pictures from each month. I know it is a lot, but I am excited to catch up and start posting the recent things that have been going on in our lives. Lets start with September of 2009.....

September is all about the start of football season. And, we just happen to be huge BYU fans! What better way to start the season with a huge win against Oklahoma!

This is the first home game of last year, which we lost. But is was still fun! We have season tickets with Tyson's brother and his wife. We love going to games with them!

Tyson's dad turned 60 in September of 2009. All of us (except for our family in Arizona) were able to attend. We did a surprise birthday party for him like three weeks after his birthday. He had no idea! Go figure!

November of 2009


I did not take any pictures of Thanksgiving this year, but I sure did catch the last BYU football game of the year against Utah at home. This picture is at the very start of the game.


What? What is going on in this picture??


Yeah that is right! BYU won, and it was a pretty close game. This was by far the best game I have ever been too!!!



And as you can tell Tyson and I are pretty excited!!!! We are already counting down the day's until the start of this year's football season!

In January my whole family went to a Jazz game. This picture was right before the game, we all went to eat at Chili's

February 2010


I love this picture! In February our disposal broke and Tyson was determined to fix it! Well an hour later he sure fixed it! Notice the glove he has on?? He did not want to touch it with his bare hands, so he went and grabbed some rubber gloves out of my scrubs. He sure is funny!


I will give you one guess what Tyson is looking at in this picture? Yep that is right, the tv. It was superbowl weekend, and we went up to my parents house to watch it


Thank you to my awesome parents who hosted the party. It was a blast!


In February our good friend's Cayl and Heather got engaged. We took this picture because all three of us got our rings from the same store... And Cayl was the last one to get engaged/married out of the group. We are so happy for them! Finally all of us will be married! It will be so fun!!!

In with the NEW out with the OLD

So I made of lot of goals this year, and blogging once a month was one of them. Ha Ha well it's coming upon May and I have not done one thing about that goal. Tyson and I always have so much going on, buts it about time we start documenting all the fun exciting things we are experiencing in our lives. To update us, I will first start off with Tyson. Tyson is currently going to school, and is so close to being done. He will graduate in fall of 2011 in aviation and business. So only three more semesters away... YAY!!! He just finished up his cross country flying, and is now working on his instrument readings for his flying. Tyson got his private license last July, and we have been able to fly to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Bryce Canyon together. He loves it! And I love going with him! It is really weird to be with your husband flying thousands of feet above the ground!!!!! I get nervous sometimes, but to see the look on his face and to know how much he loves it, it makes it all worth it! When this semester ends, he will be working full time for his cousin, flying still and keeping up his lawn mowing business. BUSY BUSY... As for me, I am still working..... And when I mean working, that is all I do! I just added to my job list and have started to serve three to four nights a week at Chili's. I get tired and worn out a lot, but I actually enjoy it! Tyson and I keep pretty busy but we still find time to hang out and do all sorts of fun stuff!!! Summer is upon us, and we are so excited for all of our plans we have this summer. I PROMISE I will keep you all updated even if its only once a month. Who knows, maybe twice ha ha ha. I know this is going to be a long post, but here is some pictures of what has been going on in our lives over the past year..............................

My first race ever! Tori (cousin), me, my sister in Laws Alexa, Mindy and Kylee. It was so much fun! I am getting ready to run Ragnar in June and training to hopefully do the Top of Utah half Marathon in August



Last May we all drove down to Arizona for vacation to see...



These wonderful people! Tyson has a brother that lives in Arizona and now has a sister that lives there too. We get to go down again next month to visit and can hardly wait!!



This is my first time flying with Tyson. We went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I could do a whole blog on just this event, but that might have to be for another day. These next few pictures are all from summer time of 2009. Lots of family gatherings, reunions and weddings. It was a great summer!









Well my next post will be of the holiday's up until now. Sorry this is a long post, but surprisingly enough, I am enjoying this. Soon to come..... Holidays of 2009 to now. Hey look at me I just posted a blog. YAY!

FINALLY UPDATES!!!!

Alright everyone... Its been almost a year since I did any kind of update on here!!! WOW! So starting now, and for the next month I am going to try and do one every week so I can catch up on everything that has been going on in our lives. Tyson and I are doing A M A ZING!! Summer has been really busy, but we are loving every minute of it!!!! NOW......................... Lets see if I can actually do this :)

Utah here we come!!

It has been a long summer, but it is finallly coming to an end. We both have been so busy lately, I haven't been able to update. So bare with me everyone.. This one is going to be a long one!!

The beginning of this month, we were able to have Tyson's parents, Ben and Emily and their family come visit. It was so awesome to see them!! We played a few rounds of corn holes, Tyson loves it!!


Here is Mckay having a drink. It has been so fun to be around him and Landon. They are very entertaining!


Ben gets really intense during these games.. Look at his form! Just kidding! Tyson and I love that we were taught this wonderful game. Especially since we learned it from two awesome people. Thanks Ben and Emily!!

Tyson's birthday was last Friday. He turned 23! We were out of town in Indiana for work, or I would of done a post on that day. We went to lunch, then he had to go to work. When he got off of work, a big group of us went to Texas Road House. YUM!! Its one of our favorites. I am so thankful to have Tyson in my life! He is not only an awesome husband, but he is my best friend!!! He has worked so hard this summer, and I am so proud of him! I love you babe!!

I made his favorite cake at home before we left so he could have it on his birthday. I sang happy birthday to him in our hotel room. It was kind of funny!

We have been so lucky to have a temple so close to us while we have been out in Kentucky. It actually shares the same parking lot to our church. It is a beautiful temple! It is really small compared to some other temples, but we love it! We took this picture last Sunday as we were leaving church. You walk out the front door of our church building and this is what you see. I love it!!!

I took this picture as we were walking out the door to go to dinner. We have been very lucky to have Tyson's aunt and uncle here in Louisville. They have invited us to many Sunday dinners. It has been so nice! Well once we get a few things fixed on our car we will be headed back to good ol Utah. Tyson and I can't wait!!
