The Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) is a Home for Nonprofits. We offer fiscal sponsorship services to established and emerging organizations working to make a difference in their communities.

Fiscal sponsorship allows organizations to operate under UAC’s 501(c)(3) status while receiving administrative support. Managing payroll, negotiating insurance, juggling multiple grants, and filing IRS reports is challenging—especially when you’re focused on transforming lives. By providing back-office support, we help nonprofits save time and money so they can stay focused on their mission.

UAC operates under the Comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship model, meaning we assume full financial and legal responsibility for each project under our 501(c)(3). OVERVIEW

As a full fiscal-sponsored organization, UAC will assume all financial and legal responsibilities under our 501(c)(3); allowing you, our “Partner,” you to utilize of all of UAC’s services.

Fiduciary Services: our fiscal team provides a full-scale back-office, from grants management, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable to insurance, auditing, and preparations of your 990 tax forms
HR Services: our HR team will work side-by-side with you, from employee recruitment, on-boarding, and benefits enrollment to payroll, workers compensation, and employee relations management
Shared Services: our partnership services team is your liaison to leverage growth, assisting with program development, capacity building, and other supports for your organization and staff

OVERVIEW

When your established organization becomes a Collaborative Services client, UAC will work with you as a central manager/distributor of funding for your project/program. UAC assumes fiduciary responsibility for all fund management, reporting, and compliance.

UAC is responsible for the financial reporting, programmatic reporting, insurance, auditing, and preparations of your 990 tax forms
Our fiscal team will work side-by-side with you and the funder to ensure compliance and maximize efficiency
We also advance cash payments, so your project/program has a stable and consistent cash flow environment
