Christmas Day

Today I want to share with you a fridge magnet I made to decorate my kitchen.
I have used a small (6x17 cm) wooden box  and altered it with gesso, modeling paste, artificial snow, 3D balls and glitter.

HO, HO, HO!

I have been using this pattern of Christmas tree for years and haven't be bored with it at all.
2018's version is packed with multi media products including gesso, modeling paste, crackle glaze, acrylic paints and inks.

Warm Wishes

Zainspirowana wyzwaniem na blogu art-piaskownica, gdzie tematem są
mixed media- spękania  ozdobiłam drewniany domek.
Najpierw nałożyłam w kilku miejscach pastę strukturalną i pomalowałam czarną farbą akrylową.
Użyłam preparatu Weathered Wood Americana do tworzenia spękań, następnie całość pomalowałam srebrną farbą akrylową.
Dodałam w kilku miejscach Crackle Glaze Deco Art i na zakończenie wtarłam odrobinę pasty pozłotniczej w kolorach srebro i złoto zielone.
Pastami i odrobiną brokatu udekorowałam też bombki-tekturki.

Domek bierze też udział w wyzwaniu Tricks Art- świątecznie.

Live Your Dream

Hi there! I am so glad I can join in the challenge at Try it on Tuesday  where the theme is: Family and Friends.
I was inspired by the beautiful makes of my former teamies and decided to frame the picture of my only granddaughter Maya.
Maya has grown up already but it's still one of my favourite photos.

I have used another fish can here and an old cup for a stand - I just love to recycle!

Autumnal Apple

Today I want to share with you an altered glass apple. 

Inspired by lovely pieces I have seen on Paper Artsy blog I decided to use tissue paper and some 3D balls to create extra texture.

The best product to fix it all together was DecoArt Matte Medium.

I have found 3 different sheets of tissue paper in my stash.

First I tried some stamping on them.

Than I tried some painting on the reverse.

That gave me more colours to play with.

The pieces of tissue paper were thorn and glued to the glass. 

The whole thing was covered with  DecoArt Matte Medium on top.

  

To finish my project off  I added some text stamping and I rubbed in some gold and rusty wax.

Indian Summer

Today I'm sharing a piece I made inspired by beautiful Indian Summer we have had in Poland this year.
Unfortunately the weather has changed completely and we are now overwhelmed by strong , cold winds and rain.
Going back  to my piece I used a gesso -transfered face with lots of paint in autumnal colours along with some gold accents.

For a Gentleman

Today I want to share a card I made for my cousin's 50th Birthday.

The background is a gelli plate print with addition of stenciled modelling paste and some stamping.

I finished it off with some hot embossed chipboards and tiny gold stars.

Count your Blessings

Another fish can today! I start to wonder if it is a kind of addiction;))
As always I am sharing a few steps of the process.

I have to admit I was in tears at this point because I completely didn't like the colours I achieved.

So I grabbed my acrylic paints and tried to improve the impression.

I'm still not sure about the result but have decided to link it to 

artplaygroundblog where the theme is : Oh, blessed mistake!
